   They may decide to kill you or your family, or worse, torture you for years and years.

   Christians are called to stand for God.  Jesus said "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."  Matthew 10:33.  I pray to be gone before that day dawns on American soil.  If it is the Lord's will I see that day, I pray God grant me and all of his children the strength to do his will and NEVER deny him.  Right now, today, Pastor Saeed Abedini, an American citizen, faces this exact torture in one of the worst Iranian prisons.  Thus far, he is a shining example to us all from the accounts I have seen.  You can sign a petition to free him here:

   In various parts of our past martial law has gone into effect, though it never lasted very long. Do you think it will happen again? I'm afriad I don't understand the question. Are you asking if I would stand by and pray to god while I'm suffering and my family is being tortured?--the answer is no. I don't accept it as a given that god does exist. I don't even accept it as a given that he is just even if he does exist. The only thing I can be certain of is that this life is real and I plan to make the most of it.

   I will stand by the Almighty and True God.  Regardless of persecution, imprisonment, or death, God knows and sustains those serving him.  We need not fear those that harm the body, but should cultivate a healthy fear of God that saves the soul.

   We all need to pray for the righteousness of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit so that He will keep us standing for Him so when He comes in the clouds (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Rev 1:7) we will be running to Him and not from Him. WE do not have strength to stand.

      But Jesus wanted us to have the strength to stand and to do the miracles he did and even greater. Those who were healed we not by his power, but by their own faith. He wanted the children of God within to awaken -- his siblings

   It becomes easy when we take all "importance" off of these physical shells. I have known the invulnerability of God's love. I have known what it feels like to give up being a victim and walking in the Grace of spiritual awakening.
   
   Prophecy is already revealing itself.
   
   The rebirth of Israel was the beginning of the End Times (late 40s). And then we had the falling "great star" named "wormwood" (Chernobyl, in Ukrainian) which spilled its pestilence across a third of the world.
   
   And then, with 9/11, we have signs from God that America is being warned. But the leaders are not heeding the warning. In fact, when they quote the Bible, they quote the words of defiance that Israel used against God's warning. Did they not know the context of the words they quoted? No doubt they thought they were inspirational words of confidence in the face of adversity, but instead they were words of arrogance -- the petulant child refusing to stop their wickedness.

   During the days of the Roman Empire, even during the time of Jesus' life, Martial Law was in effect. The Roman's, with their powerful armies, ruled the known world. If Martial Law takes effect in our lifetime (which I doubt will happen, by the way) life will go on, as usual, with us buying and selling goods, living life, and doing whatever.

   I say..."Let them come".
   
   If my loyalties were not with Almighty YHWH and His glorious Son, Christ Yeshua, where would they be?
   
   I would consider it my greatest triumph to be persecuted for my Heavenly Father and Son's holy name.
   
   What can these little maggots do to us anyway? Kill our mortal bodies and hurt our feelings? So what?! We are all destined to die, so who cares if it's 20-30 years sooner than we feel is convenient? The Holy Bible tells us to fear only the One who can kill our mortal bodies and souls. These little bullies are just mindless drones and I wouldn't even give them the pleasure of a whimper.
   
   I say...take your beating, take your lumps, bleed the ground red and go home with Christ. What could be better? Besides, death is but a momentary pang, but eternal life is forever!!! :0)
   
   What truly matters is how you die...not when.
   
   What truly matters is how you lived...not how long.
   
   Fear not Brittles, for victory awaits.
   
   By the way, is flourishing in an evil world worth losing your soul? Are you really having that much fun anyway? Will we really be missing all that much? For those who desire to gain everything this world has to offer but lose their soul as a result...should be considered the greatest of all losers.
