   If Jesus Christ knock on your front door of your home, would you let Him in?
   
   If it could really happen that Jesus would do such a thing, I really don't know how I would react. But you say you love Him would you let Hin in?

   My relationship with my savior Jesus Christ lets him know that he is welcome in my home always. No need to knock, he is always with me and I am in him.

   yes. I would let most people in, in fact. Perhaps it's the Christ in me that will determine so. A true God-lover does not feel fear in the same way like most people. But yes, if He was to come, I would receive Him with great pomp and ceremony; much adoration and reverence.
   My home at most times, is only excluded to the dodgy-looking ones. The only difference with Christ, will be a matter of degree, and I will do my best. It is a great question, and should encourage many to soul-searching, if that's what you are trying to do.

   We have a no strangers policy in our home. I would not let some random man who claims to be a Gods son in my home. Plenty of people have claimed to be talking to a god and killed many.

      I believe that if Jesus was real he was just another missionary.  So I would treat him the same as the Mormons who knock on my door.

      Yes like the question states, IF Jesus really did show up and as for false prophecies, I think they are easy to spot if you have faith in God.

   I thought about this one for a bit. At first I thought of course I would. Then I realized that that is just a learned response. I am not that gracious.
   Then I got to thinking,,,,, wait a second. I am over fifty years old and have never ever refused someone entrance into my home.
   I do not go and ask strangers into my home but if they come to my home and ask to enter I let them in.
   My mom would actually find people that needed a place and invite them. I think I would be more concerned about my home being messy and not good  enough. I also do not know if my insurance would cover the lightning strike if I said no ;-)
   
   But this question is deep. We all love the beautiful picturesque scenes of a wonderful manger in a sleepy beautiful town of Bethlehem. But there "mankind" turned away a birthing mother and did  not invite her in. We may never learn.

      Eric. I like to think that the condition of our homes reflect the condition of the heart. If He not is not received in one's home, then how can He ever reach one's heart.

   I'll try to have a little fun with this.  Jesus himself said that the time would come when people would say the He had returned and is over here or over there.  He said don't believe them because when He returns, according to the New Testament, every eye will see Him.  So, if some stranger comes to my house and says he is Jesus, I would of course know better. 
   
   But wait, Jesus also said this, "I was a stranger and you invited me in."  That was in the context of when I was hungry you fed me etc.  So with that in mind, the liar on my front porch is Jesus, and if there was compelling reason, such as him needing a bath or a meal, yes, I suppose I'd let him in, for a while.

      Cam, I hope the point is that you would let me in. You would see me for the poor deranged hopeless man and wash my feet.  I do not say that lightly.  But from time to time there are GOOD men. Your great ancestors probably owned that stable.

      Eric, If you showed up on my doorstep, I'd kill the fatted calf, wash your feet and have a big party to celebrate the occasion.  As for my ancestors, two generations back on my mother's side was the Klan.  On my Dad's side, a politician, enough said.

      My door we lock for some reason like female security issues but a decent pounding will let you in to be annoyed at our insistent inquisitiveness, and forcing of food.

       Wow Celafoe! That is the most literal translation of anything in the bible I have ever heard.
       I am sorry for this off scripture notion. Does that mean men can be Great, I find no restriction on that?

   Without question, Jesus in his physical form would be welcome in our home. However, many have been approached by Jesus and did not recognize him. We all have a picture of what he looked like, but we do not know, and he may look entirely different than what we imagine. Thus, to be sure you are actually letting Jesus into your home, you would first have to have a relationship with him, so that he knows you and you have no doubts that you know him.

    Sure I would. I let most anybody come in. I don't like standing at the door talking to somebody with the door open. Because the cat will dash out the door and I have to go chase him. So I tell the person to come in and shut the door. If what the person has to say doesn't interest me, he/she doesn't stay long. I would probably offer Jesus a cup of coffee, or a beer, and see what he had to say.

       I have an honest question. 2nd coming has 2parts.  For  christians 1st then w/ christians to reign.  The world will be destroyed by fire, mass death, blood running in the streets.  You look forward to this?  Can't wait for it?  Please explain.
