Will there come a time when humanity will call evil good and good evil?

I think that we have been doing that for Centuries.  The Holy Wars, the Spanish inquisition, Jihad, trepanning--which involves cutting a hole into a person's skull to "release the evil demons".  A practice performed on millions of people until mental illness was found to be a medical condition and not a condition of the "spirit" or "soul".  Since men and women began keeping oral, pictorial, and written records humanity has made human sacrifices of innocent people to appease something; volcanoes, demons, God, etc.  Most of the world's main religions have proselytized and killed those that they could not convert, in the name of God.  I think the world has a strong history of calling "evil" good and good (such as practicing the art and science of medicine) evil.

I think that's NOW.  But like someone else said, we have been doing that for a while now.  It's just getting worse.

Good and evil are relative terms, particularly in cases like war when one nation battles another. No one considers themselves to be evil. Anything can be justified to make oneself sound good.

And this way of thinking Old-Empresario is evil! Cause good can can't be justified, it simply is the right way for all time.

Ok. By your rationale, the United States is evil because we often bomb innocent people and break international law. We have our justifications, but they are relative to us. Are you ready to atone for your nation's sins against humanity?

      Good Morning, Old-Empresario,
I can't account for the politics of our nation, because I think our driving laws are driven by the beliefs of the politicians. It's up to us to place Christians to lead our country and protect our boarders.

Personally I want my elected officials to leave their religious beliefs at the door when conducting our nation's business.  I'm a Christian but I don't want a politician that has a Christian, Jewish, Hindu, or Islamic agenda...
