Do you love God?
If so, why do most people disregard and even change God's Ten Commandments?
I love the 'Power' that have created the universe and the Human. My reply is not based on 'Ten Commandments' .
People disregard their moral, civic and ethics because
- they start to doubt the existence of that super power up there.
- What they believe is just an 'image' of Life, by that I mean they think they are 'receiving' all the goods in life especially when they have the money to spend.
- They do not understand the concept of seeking forgiveness from the Almighty. They again assume, they can seek forgiveness and their sin will be cleared. 'The Power' will only forgive sins that are 'accident' meaning was done 'unintentionally'
"The Power' will only forgive sins that are 'accident' meaning was done 'unintentionally" Where is this in Scripture? Leviticus?
What about Abraham, David, & others who sinned "intentionally?"
Read Exd 33:19; Rm 9:15
Yeah, sure, He's cool. Total class act. We play poker every other Thursday. He always brings these totally bad-ass buffalo wings. Must be His secret recipe. They're da bomb.
How could I not?
Is He not the reason I breathe?
Is He not the "glue" that keeps this awesome place together?
Is He not that subtle and most timely "Hand" of great assistance?
is He not everything?
How one answers these questions clearly defines why some will indeed not follow His Commandments...
God said: If you love Me,keep My commandments...(John 14:15)meaning....not just the first but every commandment God has written...
Do u know John was under "the Law" which has been "fulfilled?" It's a New Day & we're currently under the New Covenant wherein He's putting His laws in our hearts & minds (Jer 31:33;Heb 8:10;10:16)!
Read Gal 4:19-31;5:1!
The HS helps keep 1
April, the Ten Commandments were "our schoolmaster" when we "initially" came unto Christ (Galatians 3:24)! This is a "Spiritual" journey (John 4:24) in which we "grow" (II Corinthians 3:18) into His likeness! When we "initially" come unto Christ, we are "babes in Christ" (I Corinthians 3:1). As in school, we must first learn the alphabet, phonetics, words, form sentences, paragraphs, stories, etc. from kindergarten to PhD! So it is "in Christ!"
Therefore, the Ten Commandments have not been "disregarded" by those who are "in Christ," rather are no longer needed because of our "maturity" (no longer "babes") in Him! Galatians 3:25 says "But after "faith" is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster."
We are NOW under the NEW COVENANT of Grace and Truth where "His laws" are being "put in our hearts, and written in our minds" (Jeremiah 31:31-33; Hebrews 8:10;10:16)! It's a New Day! We no longer have to "work," (bringing sacrifices to altar, etc) but the Holy Spirit "works" ("guiding us into all truth," John 16:13)!

Can you go a day without sinning?Sin takes on many forms. Many people think they are good people, and they are. But, are they sinless? Is it possible, if you really try, to go a whole day without sinning?
