God is not static and God is an ever-transcending love. Measuring is rather like human relationships. I give you a piece of candy, and you give me 50 cents. Measuring encourages expectation, possession, inferiority and superiority; ownership and boxes; narrowness and confinement and the big one: attachments.
Measuring is also scientific, but science is of the mind and for the mind. Love is beyond the mind and in the Heart of a God-lover.
Measurement involves plans. Love is not bound by plans, cannot be confined and must be free. The whole of life or quest lies in looking for this freedom.
Love is vibrant and dynamic, like a running river, or the sweet smile and pranks of a child; it is the invisible sacrifice of the mother as well as the visible ones; it is the laden tree bowing and offering to mankind without expectations; it is the same Sun and moon shining on the poor and the rich alike.
It dances with music and instills in the Spiritual Heart and Soul, the Gratitude of the Most High. Finally, it is the same one thread running in the heart of the beggar, the drunkard, the addict and the paramour, only in a much denser form. Love is the longing of the one for the One in the ever-transcending Beyond. Love is and shapes Life.....
"Both Light and shadow, are the dance of Love.
Love has no cause, it is the astrolabe of God's secrets...
Whenever I try to describe Love, I become speechless.
Whenever I try to write about Love,
My pen breaks, and the paper slips away,
To that inevitable place where Lover, Loving and Love becomes One.
Every moment is made glorious by the Light of Love." - Rumi
