One of the arguments in favor of homosexuality is that they were born that way, that God made them that way.
Scientists are biased. Scientists that are practicing, or proponents of homosexuality will say that they can scientifically prove that homosexuals are born that way.
Other scientists who are against homosexuality (if they have the courage to do so) will stand up and say, "No. You are not born a homosexual. It is a product of our culture."
Truthfully, it really doesn't matter. If someone can prove that they are born a homosexual, then someone can also prove that Charles Manson was born a murderer.
We have all heard stories of murderers and serial killers who say they have loved to kill ever since they were toddlers. They would say that they killed animals as a child and they "graduated" into killing humans.
The point is that being "born" immoral doesn't make it right. Having thoughts of killing since you were a child doesn't mean that killing is right. Likewise, having homosexual thoughts every since you were a child doesn't mean its right.
I said all this to say that homosexuality is certainly wrong in the sight of the Lord Jesus. There is no doubt about it.
I don't believe in hating homosexuals because that sin is no greater than a many other sins that people practice. Furthermore, hating anybody is strictly forbidden in a Christian's life.
Can a person be a Christian, and continue in homosexuality? No. We make a choice to sin. You can choose to leave a homosexual relationship. "come out from among them, says the Lord, and be separate".
Can a Christian struggle with homosexual temptations? Yes. But willfully giving into those temptations and living there is strictly forbidden. The homosexual lifestyle is not compatible with the lifestyle of one who believes in, and follows the Lord God Almighty - the Lord Jesus Christ.
