    5 Main Reasons-

    1. Some people don't believe in going.
    2. No church in the area.
    3. Working
    4. People don't want to get up.
    5. They don't make enough time to go.

Hi, I see your nickname and suppose you are a big fan of believing in God and Jesus. I for one don't go to church because I see no reason in it. I heard something and I liked it very much: "Going to church often won't make you a Christian, just like going to a garage often won't make you a car".
I hate hypocrisy and most people going to church and doing everything to show they are good Christians are in fact bad people...I saw and heard people coming out of the church swearing because someone stepped on there foot or talking that someone was badly dressed, what's up with that?
My religion is different, I have very much faith but I express it in other ways I try and concentrate on doing good. What's the use of going to church claiming your a good guy when you are just going there because you feel guilty? Just do good and everything good will return to you.
Hope I don't offend  with my opinion.
    Peace!

They don't go because they realize that it is pointless.  That goes for many "believers" in the fairy tales of religion, not just the non-believers.

I know it is hard for christians, muslims, and other religious wackos to comprehend, but there are some people that don't buy the load of excrement that is belief in their delusions.

It's probably because they all have different formats, beliefs,  and ways of doing things. Religions turn people off when they practice hypocrisy. For the most part, it seems like more of a social event then respecting God in a place where they expect His presence to be. True religion in the eyes of God is about "Loving One Another" and not being contaminated by the world. http://www.itrustgodonly.com
