I am pentecostal and over the years I have watched people teach and preach the word. Many people are like a fine dressed window with all the right things going on in their lifes, but they are empty and nothing satisfies them. They walk and talk good, but where is the power, the anointing in the lives of people today. Are we just a good store windows with all the right decorations, programs, seminars, public gatherings and speeches?

I was raised in 2 different churches, a pentecostal church and a missionary Baptist church. Whats funny is while they have very different beleifs as far as dress and appearance, their doctirines are very simialar. I think if a pentecostal person lives this way because they feel conviction to do so that is one thing. but if they live this way, don't cut their hair, women only wear skirts or dresses, no makeup, etc. just because that is what is expected of them or because that is what they have always been taught to do then they are not really living the way God wants them to.  Just following Christs example is really all God wants us to do. Why is that so hard for people understand.

I am an Apostolic Pentecostal Prophet. To look at me, you'd never know, why? My walk is not based on what I wear, what I claim to be, or what church I attend, it's simply that I believe in the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! I stand for truth, and not man-made theology! Standards are scales by which we measure OURSELVES, and is not the way that God sees us. I know many, many people who claim their religion, but then when I ask them what they believe, 90% of them have not a clue, many are Pentecostals! They always refer me to their Pastors...sad but true.

God only responds to His Word, and our response to it. Our faith moves mountains, but if we don't know our heavenly identity and authority in the earth, then those mountains will not move, even if we scream at them!

Apostolics put more faith in their standards, than in their own ability to walk in the grace provided IN CHRIST. Our own righteousness is as filthy rags, yet we continue to wear them, as trophied clokes in the synagogues to prove our "holiness" before the world. I say we need to stand in the stead of Christ, laying aside every weight and sin that would so easily beset us from running the race to completion.

I proclaim that we do as our Brother, John the Baptist, and point the way to Christ, instead of pointing at ourselves to draw attention to our selves, our man-made denominational empires, and let the Spirit of truth ring throughout the earth in one mind and in one accord, and let every word be established in the spirit of prophetic truth!

    Faith without works is dead.
No matter how you display your faith, if there is not power behind it -- what good is it really?
Your question cannot be answered collectively, but individually.
Two people can attend the same house of worship but walk away entirely different.  Just as the sinner and publican both went to the same place to pray, Jesus said only one walked away forgiven & cleansed.
What is in the heart comes out in words, actions, etc.
If someone has a "Smile... God loves you" bumper sticker, but exhibits road rage -- they are like the fig tree with leaves, but no fruit.  What did Jesus do to it?  Food for thought...
