Do you think that when a person dies, they can still wander here on earth, watch over loved...
ones, roam the earth?
I think it could be possible, but if we did I doubt contact could be made with our loved one except we could watch over them perhaps...
I think that they might be miserable if they did. They would see sad things happening, and they wouldn't be able to do anything about it. They would see people they love, but they wouldn't be able to communicate. I don't really believe it's possible for this to happen, I mean for them to roam the earth and watch over loved ones, but even if it were possible,m I think it would be a very sad situation for everyone.
Yes, Some of my loved ones stayed here for several years after death.
No.
When a person dies their soul leaves there body. We can't talk to the dead. The dead person could never take the place of God and His angels watching over us. Seek the one that is alive & risen Jesus Christ.
I believe their consciousness can do, but only if they have a mind that is open to it before they die. I think there is a higher state to human consciousness that most of us are unaware of and that is the bit that can go on after the physical body has gone. It is as independent as the person was when they are alive, but can only be communicated with by people who are able to access that higher state while living.
To say that anything is impossible is certainly a slippery slope... That being said, we must ask ourselves, what would be the point? I certainly think that the afterlife is far more grand than just a lingering on, like being benched after your usefullness has dissolved... I think it's a vain assumption to think that we are, at this stage of our development and learning, anywhere near the point that we would need to have acchieved to even enjoy "eternal peace." Much as a dog cannot grasp the deeper concepts that we explore daily, our minds simply cannot yet grasp the larger, true nature concepts of existence, etc... This is why faith is so necessary... but it isn't by any means an end to the quest for knowledge...
I, for one, know that as long as there is such a vast amount of unanswered, unprobed knowledge out there, I could never simply "be at peace" for the rest of eternity. It seems then that our very existence would then have been pretty useless and wasteful, much like the vast amount of unused brain that we all possess. No, my friend, I don't think that is the answer, or the end... Simply put, I truly believe, with every fiber of my existence that I've been here before, and I don't think I'm so smart as to be anywhere near finishing even this tier of existence, so I speculate that I'll probably be back. Personally, I don't truly believe all the different phases of existence are even physical. Think about it like a scale... If all matter is energy, then at the crudest, slowest side, you have dense, slowly vibrating matter... like a space rock, or like a politician... Everything vibrating at differing pitches, all the way up the scale into phases of sound, then the whole spectrum of color and light, running the gamut. Even ether. This would certainly account for our "angels" or "ghosts," if you believe they would be allowed to contact us again... many people claim to have witnessed them... hell, anything is possible! Good question...
Yes. We have every reason to believe my sister-in-law visits from time to time, particularly with my three year old son. Too many unexplainable things have occurred not to believe.

Do You Believe In Aliens? Do You Think We Are Alone?Do you believe in Aliens from outer space. Do you think they will some day show up here on earth. You know I really thought that by this point in my life ( age 62 ) that aliens from outer space would have already showed up here on earth. It does...

Do you think our life here on earth is predetermined by us before we are even born? Some think we plot out a chart before we arrive here giving ourselves 6 exit points during our lifetime. If we do not take any of the exit points (near death experiences) when we get to the last one, our time...

What does the term 'After-life' mean to you?Is it a literal life after death, or maybe a new life on this earth, or is it just a made-up, fear-based idea that people use to make each other do good?

by Abhishek Raj 6 years ago
Why are we here on Earth ?What am i supposed to do here ?that's a spiritual kind of question. But it's haunting me since morning. Everyday we wake up, go to work and then get to sleep. Is that's only the life ? Only this much ? What is your opinion ?
