Physical ... Evidence ... is Relied upon, by Secular Judges, in determining, the "Nature of an "Act" ... and thus, the matters of Reward or Punishment ... in their "Judgments."
The Priests, however, are, an exception, for they rely purely, on their "own Devised" Divine "Sanction" ... viz. the Oracle of Delphi ... and their advice based Pharaonic Commands ... and so, is the case, of the Pastor/Priests, etc..
But ... in Islamic Law, the
First consideration, in Judging, is the considering of the "Intent" behind the Act ... and the Second, is the "Means" to an Act.
Thus, "The Law" ... Meaning, Islamic Law, Requires, that both Intent and Means, should be Considered, and impartially Evaluated, towards all Fair Judgings.
And whereas, Evidence, in Secular Law's Practiced, is usually "Tailored" by the Defense attorneys ... It is impossible for them to Define the True Intent involved ... so it is "Construed" with Logics. Hence, such judgings, do not represent True Justice.
Because ... the human Intent, behind an Act ... is only Known to God. Therefore, we "should" Rely on God's Law ... than the laws made and practised by Priests ... who, have no Right of doling out common sense based Judgments, relating Human Acts.
