Is it possible to remove stress from your life, but maintain responsibility?
Don't forget to read "The Great Release."
It is certainly possible, but it depends on your reference frame. If you look at responsibilities as opprotunities for personal growth, than life becomes a whole new ball game. Still, this can be difficult at times, and it would be naive to think stress 'could' disappear from a person's life in total. Still, we can reduce our stress levels utilizing simple relaxation techniques. Also, always remember, life is a journey, a journey full of ups and downs, peaks and valleys, and yet, it is certainly a journey worth taking. Best of luck to you.

yes........ work at what you love rather then what you do not like. to many people are doing jobs they do no like this in itself adds to the stress factor. If you not happy you are stressed. hugs
Yes, I believe that the key is to try to, when faced with situations that invoke stress, view things from a completely different perspective. For example, instead of flying off on one, or feeling anger & stressful tension building up inside, try observing just what you are faced with here from a different angle. Is it really that bad? Is it actually you with the problem & not others or whatever the causing situation may be? By handling things different, you are enhancing your own personality & ability to deal with all that life throws at you. This is very responsible!
of course. i believe stress is a choice that people make. is it really worth stressing over spilt milk?
that's probably on a lower scale of what is going on out in the world, but stress has a huge effect on health and how you handle a situation.
stress also leads to depression, which leads to tension in the body and then the body cannot function which can be very harmful and life threatening.
if you find you stress alot, it might be a good idea to sit in a quiet space and remind yourself, what it is that makes you relax. whether it be singing, dancing or going for a walk, and do that more often and force yourself if you have to sometimes.
life can be so enjoyable and liberating if you take each step gradually and at a pace you are comfortable with. live life to the fullest and have fun.
Put two people in the same situation, one can be stressed and the other not. We are responsible for our own stress.
I wonder how much of our stress is self-inflicted. We know we have responsibilities but our natural tendency is to rebel against it, causing stress. If we accept our responsibility as part of life, instead of fighting it or feeling like it is forced upon us, we will stress less about it. People living 100 years ago knew they had to work hard in order to survive--they took it as a matter of course that hard work was a part of life. We have become too soft and seek to be entertained instead. We get bored too quickly and responsibility has become an infringement on our own time and what we want to do rather than what we feel we have to do. So, yes, we can remove stress by changing our attitude. Instead of thinking of ourselves as the victim, we can choose to make the best of what we have and choose to be thankful rather than complaining.
Daniel,
Stress and responsibility are separate. Responsibility you will always have and maintain. You are stressed or not? That is not material.
It is definitely possible to remove stress from life. Stress is mainly mental and our thinking is responsible for it. You know that in every culture, in every country and in every language this is said and known that “You are what you eat”. Which is very prevalent known fact.
The same way 'You be what you think'. It is our thinking makes our personality, our mind makes our self. You control your food and manage it. Same way you can control your thinking and manage your thoughts. By doing it you control your stress and remove it from your life.

Do we (Americans) have freedom of speech? If so should Joan Rivers’s apologies for what she said? Can we learn from this and other people who say what they think without considering the consequences while you have the right to say what you want you have to take responsibility for what you say. Is...
