   In order to analyze your dream you need to focus on what each of the things in the dream means to you. For example, would zombies represent some sort of fear or do you view them more comically (like a shaun of the dead zombie)? Also, zombies tend to represent a mindless horde with the singular goal of eating you and/or turning you into one of their own. Perhaps you feel a strong force pushing you in one direction or another. Maybe your family is pressuring you to do something or people at school/work want you to act a certain way.
   
   It's also important whether or not you are winning the battle against the zombies. If you are fighting a losing battle, it reinforces what I said above. If, however, you are kicking zombie butt without any trouble at all, it might suggest that you are happy in the new direction you're going, or that you are confident in your own abilities. It could also be that you feel stronger now that something in your life has changed (or you FEEL that you would be stronger if something changed.)
   
   It's all about figuring out how the dream relates to you because zombies will probably represent something different for everyone.

   Your dream means this:  you've watched too many flipping zombie movies, and you ought to be reading zombie books, and or writing hubs about your zombie fascination.  Be productive here on hubpages-write about these things, join reddit.com, facebook, myspace, etc, etc-and submit your hubs there.  Hell, send me a message, I'll read your hubs too if you do.

   Depends really based on you. If you normally have dreams where your subconcious is trying to tell you something than what M. T. Dremer said is the way you want to go.
   
   Or like Jason said you have just been watching to many Zombie movies. Or you have been playing to much COD zombie mode.
   
   Then there is a third option. Which is that your imagination just wants to put you into something you consider a fun activity and during that dream you simply wanted to be shooting zombies.
   
   Only really read into something if there is something to read into and try not to find deep meaning in things that aren't that deep. Just enjoy dreaming it can be rather fun.

   It could possibly could mean that your going after dead things: like the wrong direction, or waging war on lifeless things, resurrecting things from the past that should of remained dead ( maybe unforgiveness) Zombies equal death, walking zombies = dead alive again.
