   What solid concrete evidence can you give to say that the Holy Spirit really dwells within?
   
   I know that many people ask how do I know the Holy Spirit is real, can you give any evidence that the Holy Spirit dwells on this earth?

   The Holy Spirit gives those who have received the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit",gifts that are described in these verses:
   
   1 Corinthians 12:8-10 (New King James Version)
   
   8 For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
   
   When the Holy Spirit activates these gifts what appears to be miracles occur.To give you a brief example of how the gift of knowledge helped to save the life of one of my counseling clients who contacted me recently by an instant messenger,I'll reprint part of the transcript
   
   [20:13] CHRISTY: I'm still really sick
   [20:14] drdeancrosby: anything different than before
   [20:16] CHRISTY: chest hurts bad and my stomach pain is worse. i've had to lay in fetal position for like the last hour
   [20:16] drdeancrosby: what have you eaten since the soup
   [20:17] CHRISTY: nothing. just had juice and water
   [20:17] drdeancrosby: christy the holy spirit is telling me its food poisoning
   [20:18] drdeancrosby: it's deliberate
   [20:18] drdeancrosby: its so serious you need what's called having your stomach pumped out to remove the poison
   [20:19] drdeancrosby: you will have to get a doctor to approve that
   [20:19] CHRISTY: ok
   [20:22] CHRISTY: . im feeling really nausous now and kinda dizzy
   [20:23] drdeancrosby: you must report all your symptoms and the time they occurred to the doctor
   [20:23] drdeancrosby: tell the doctor you are certain its food posioning
   [20:24] CHRISTY: ok
   
   It took considerable effort to get Christy the treatment that God determined she needed but with patience this is how this life-threatening incident ended:

   [21:44] drdeancrosby: christy when the stomach pump arrives i'll be leaving for the night,contact me tomorrow so we can discuss this

   Logically speaking--no human can definitively prove the Holy Spirit is real. It's a matter of personal faith. I challenge anyone to provide conclusive, tangible evidence of its existence.
   
   That said, I believe the Spirit is real, and have personally witnessed its power. But I, nor anyone else, can practically produce irrefutable evidence of its existence. Nearly all things spiritual, spoken from a human, can be challenged as speculation.
   
   And that's the truth. The only concrete evidence will be given by Jesus during the Millennium Reign. At that time, anyone committing the Unpardonable Sin "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" will not be forgiven. The H.S. is the literal POWER of God, and only a person's steadfast denial--after literally witnessing its action--is the blasphemy.

   absolutely none. each answer you get will be based on belief rather then fact. some will say they have been touched by him, other will use silly stories and others will use scripture but in the end they are all just personal beliefs.
