Self mastery, mostly.  The ability to consider yourself and find ways around any negative proclivities rather then wallowing through them getting stuck.

reminds me of another of my favorite sayings: "Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you deal with it." In any situation, what makes all the difference, is your reaction to the situation. The world can crumble down around you but if you choose to survive and rise above it all, you really can. All creatures have that survival instinct, the human race is not exempt. Namaste'

If you are facing a difficult or negative situation by thinking positive you can get past anything.  So instead of dwelling on negative things always think positive and you will not feel badly in your given situation but instead pass through it to the brighter happier side!!!!!

I guess it means that I can over come whatever is troubling me at the moment.   That my mind is stronger, and I can change whatever the "matter" is.

To me it means I don't mind anything in my life and except for God, nothing in my life matters.

If a glass of milk and a glass of Cold Beer is kept before you on a hot day what will you drink.
Matter is before you - What does your mind say.

To me, it means being able to transcend the trials and tribulations that life places in my path. Not letting things get the better or me. Not losing my head over things. Being able to control the way I feel emotionally, mentally and physically. You can actually stop an itch without scratching it, and can actually change the way your body interprets all types of pain, simply by using your mind.
