We've all come across the prophesies and the speculations about 21/12/2012. What is it with this date, there are tons of theories about what might happen. Well surely all of those predictions can't come true all at once in a single day. So what is it that could actually happen on a day which is probably the most hyped date at least since the last century?

The same thing will happen that happened on all other "end of time" dates throughout history. Nothing.

Chicken Little didn't get a star on Hollywood's walk of fame for nothing.

Record sales for shopping the Friday before Xmas holiday. Bars will fill to capacity. People will throw up and go home with each other. Many babies will be born in September 2013.

Well, December does begin with D, so yes, the 21st is a typical D day.
But, remember, everyday happens 24 times on the same planet.
So, whatever is going to happen, if anything is going to happen, is going to happen that many times.

In celestial terms it has already "happened' - the conjunction has already passed. Just relax.

Your initial suggestion is for the earth ending on the 21st December 2012 they are all theories.

The Mayan calender that ends on that date is the end of a calender and the 22nd of December 2012 starts a new one (like the end of the millennium on our currently used calender) this is fact.
