Is God Eternal or is God Everlasting? Is there a difference?

The follow-on question, then, would be: "What is the implication of the answer on Determinism and Free Will?"

God is both eternal and everlasting.

To me, eternal and ever lasting are different. Eternal implies throughout the passage of time in our understanding of reality. Ever lasting implies existence whether reality exists, or not.

But neither attribute would negate free will, or force our individual existences to be pre determined. None of us, no matter how important we consider ourselves to be, have more than a negligible effect on reality; no matter what action we choose to take.
