Pistorius vs Ebola

Normally the BBC and Reuters are the news spots on line that give the most accurate news about what is happening in the USA.  But it seems the BBC is falling into the same rut as the rags here in the US.

Ebola is still the top billing but coming in second today is the Pistorius story.  My question, "Are these two stories of such near equal note as to be next to each other in the important international news headlines and columns?"

ebola coverage could use a break for a while until there are more newsworthy developments.

Now that flu season is fast approaching, we're going to have hundreds, maybe thousands of hypochondriac cranks coming out of the woodwork demanding to be quarantined. People who have a touch of the flu but think it's ebola because the week prior they  happened to have glanced at a picture of an African, lol.
