Do you believe this is the third thread asking if one believes in gods?

They just keep pumping them out..... not that they're insecure about their beliefs or anything... smile

Ahhmmmm? It is a religion Forum?

Yes, it is. And, that's a dead giveaway, isn't it?

I mean, there are at best only a handful, if that, of members who have posted here that haven't mentioned whether they are believers or non-believers or given any indications whatsoever either way. If one were not able to tell who believed or didn't believe in a god by reading the posts here, then they have one of the worst cases of reading comprehension on record.

So, it just seems to me that asking the same question and stating the obvious answer over and over again smacks of insecurity, as earnestshub alluded.

In fact, we could take that one step further and opine it is the insecurity from a lack of an indoctrination regime one would experience by going to church regularily, for example.

My statement is to tell you your in religion forum. We talk religion here.

I thought maybe you missed that fact, as a few others you have spoke of.

            lolol

Sorry, just messin with ya Q.

So why do you come in a religion forum if it bothers you so much? Repitition and all, hearing about God over and over must get old to a non-believer.

Seems to me it could be a deep seeded, inexplicable need to find something... one that you supress constantly with ill humor and logic.

            Hrrmmmm? No maybe not.

Not that I'm drawing comparisons, but I'll use the example of that which is considered "hate speech"

Often, the first thing we want to do and usually do with hate speech is to censor it. But, that's not right if we are to uphold freedom of speech.

Therefore, the only way to combat hate speech is with more and more speech.

This rings true with anything and everything, regardless of the situation, and that's the reason why I do what I do. smile

I feel the same way. If someone in the automotive forum tells everyone that the brakes are good on early Navara utes, I will go there and correct that too! Dangerous or ill informed ideas get attention. smile

                  I got it.

Pissin gasoline on the fire to help it burn itself out.

                  Okay.

                  Carry on then.

                  happy new year Q, Earnest.
