And My guests today are???????? (0 ?) oh well!!!!!!!!
1) Why should any of us believe there is a God???
2) Why should any of us believe we are a product of evolution?
3) Why is there any need for any of us to argue about it??
4) Is there any reason we can't all just get along regardless of our beliefs?
5) Why can't we all focus on the problems that face humanity instead of worrying about where we came from and where we are going?
6) Are believers so caught up in what might be in the after life that they tend to loose sight of the "now" life?
7) Shouldn't matters that concern the future of your children be more important than where you may possibly end up when dead?
8) Is the Vodka God destined to rule the planet after civilization ceases to exist?
Well, since I don't know of any God, which you make reference to, I guess I would find it difficult to believe in something you don't know whether or not it exists.
Those who believe in the "GOD" concept only trick themselves into believing that they made a moral right choice, which is actually opposite happens.
Evolution is the explanation for Human Consciousness. The human mind evolved to human consciousness. This is made difficult to believe because the 'church' and other religious leaders try to discredit evolution. It opens up a whole NEW meaning about life and a better understanding.
The need to argue is so knowledge can be passed from one person to another. Those who feel challenged, speak up with what they believe and learned. This is suppose to contradict the claims of the other person. What religious leaders have failed to realize is truth is truth. Truth is universal thru all of humanity, as long as, people have the same knowledge.
Yes, one reason I can think of off hand. The simple fact that people form their belief structure solely on faith alone, is wrong and detriment to their own life. Even, if they don't realize it.
Because, too many people do not know the underlying cause for many of the problems happening within societies around the globe. The concept is too big for them to grasp, so they don't bother even looking at it. This is no longer to be accepted by the rest of society. It's time to wake up and pay attention.
No. Believer of the "GOD" concept believe their religious scripture as truth, even out of context. They read it, but overlook the fact that Jesus' work was not religious. The problem is that religion STOLE Jesus' work, so as to keep the followers of his teaching. Even in the bible it states Jesus was against the church, yet was executed for his lack of crime. This means he was murdered, because his teachings threatened the church. The biggest problem is they misunderstand. But don't see it.
No, first order for society is to install a set standard of morality and then stick to it, teach it to children and pass it own down generation after generation. So, as to better humanity for after we are all dead, because of our inability to be adaptable enough to extend life.
What is it with you and mystical gods? Just kidding.
Hope you find my answers helpful.
I'm lost too but would be able to give a final, definitive response to all those questions.
Well to each their own is what i always say. I could care less what EVERYONE here believes, as I know I believe in god, so that's all that matters. My thoughts are, as long as you don't try to convert me into believing what the heck you do, then I won't intervene with your beliefs at all.
Again, that's a matter of anyone's opinion. I personally believe in both god and him using evolution as a blue print to create us. however, that's just my take. Again like the last question, you guys can believe whatever you want.
Why argue at all? ALL PEOPLE are generally morons and idiots anyway that believe whatever they want anyway. with logic and reason be damned, so why try to argue? besides, i'm more a lover than a fighter anyway.
In a perfect world yes, but sadly no. Too many morons and hypocrites often misinterpret the teachings of god for their selfish gains. it's one of the reasons why i wrote a poem about it on hubpages a few weeks back. not trying to self promote here, but just answering your question.
As I've stated earlier, we live in a society of morons and idiots. EVERYONE HERE IN THIS FORUM INCLUDING ME AND THE REST OF THE WORLD is a moron. Plain and simple. If your alive and breathing, then your an idiot. period. like tommy lee jones said in "men in black", "A PERSON is smart. PEOPLE are dumb and panicky, and you know it." That's all I will say about that. sorry if that offends anyone, but it's the truth.
Well like I said, there's too many people out there that often misuse and misinterpret religion for their selfish gains. take homosexual marriage for instance, there's no where in the bible it says that homosexuals are going to be damned, but christians use it as an excuse to keep them from marrying. Personally, I prefer girls myself, but hey if a guy turns you on, who am i to tell you not to? lol.
It should, but people are idiots.
I don't know. i didn't know there was such a thing. hello vodka god? are you there lord? lol. just kidding. well it's hard to say, i guess we all won't know the truth until we're all dead.
Could it have anything with the fact that we're humans and it's in our nature...these questions directly affect the future of our children...we form the world according to our beliefs and the world is what's left for them after we're gone...What on earth is Vodka God?
Just proof positive that the Vodka God stands as good a chance as any!!!!
appears that the bible made a mistake ,,, the world shall be inherited by vodka drinkers and blonds!!!
1.&2. Believe what you want, you have the right to make that choice for yourself.
3. We shouldn't argue about it. Everyone has the right to choose what they want to believe, who is anyone to tell anyone that they are wrong. We should keep our beliefs to ourselves, unless we are discussing with someone whom we know is like- minded.
4. The biggest reason why we don't get along, despite our beliefs, is fear. fear of difference, and racism. We live in a spiritually dumb world. If people got a grip, and realized that people are more important than anything, and we are all related if you go back far enough, then we could get along. A bullet in the head is a bullet in the head. What doe's it matter whom got shot? The underlying importance is that we humans kill our own kind, savage beasts. Ask yourself, do you want to be that person?
5. Because most people are out of touch with themselves, whom they really are deep inside, and what they really care about. Brainwashed by media, that tricks us in to thinking that we must have the latest ipod..
6. Absolutely. You are here, be present, for pete sakes!!
7. Yeah, don't most people realize that?
8. Vodka god??
I can tell right off you are not in favor of the vodka god or blonds inhereting the world.. Good for you...Keep the faith ....
I especially liked the answer to # 5 . I agree that the media has brainwashed our society.. It seems that no one is able to think without first tuning to channel (5) ? just a number ,,, pick one.
#5, Yeah most people don't think for themselves..They don't have to anymore, technonlogy has made most things too easy, and idiot proof..Drive through banking?!? Come on!!! A lot of people are lazy, because it's easy, hence, they are brainwashed into letting other people make decisions for them without even realizing...People in power do this for a bloody good reason..But i won't go there because that is a matter of a contraversal belief of mine, that a lot of people would call me crazy for.
So if you're blond and female and say "I'm lost" that's okay but if you are a guy and say it you get: if you don't have an answer why bother?
okay i see where this is going
my point was simply that it would be easier to respond to each question individually
Good answers you might have a place on my second ever TV show!!!!!!!!!!!
At least you read enough to give decent answers unlike wsp2469 who just thought he bullshit us with his brilliance.. sounds like some kind of Christianity tactic huh???
Okay ,, truthfully ,, I'm having a conversation with a religious friend of mine earlier ,, don't even remember how we got on religion,,(vodka I suppose) but I'm listening to her and thinking ,,,"do you even here yourself"? It sounds so preposterous that any one in their right mind would cringe. And I'm also thinking ,, why argue about this trivial crap.. there are a lot more things a lot more important.. so Arguing isn't necessarily beneficial to greater learning for all parties involved.. and one's that are stuck in believing a certain way are just stuck, because they have no intention of changing even if you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt they are wrong.....They're just locked in.....I personally couldn't give a crap... live and let live I say,,, but we do have the future of our ,,(or at least I do ) children and grandchildren to worry about.. I would suppose things are probably as bad as they are going to get in my lifetime (maybe not) but what about theirs...???? believe what you want to ,,but I can pretty much assure you your God or mine (vodka) isn't going to save our asses ,,, we might all better start working on a contingency plan ,, ( you know just in case God fails to answer the believers prayers)
Not knowing the truth I can handle, having the truth depicted as it is in religion is another thing altogether. If we do not know where we came from, that should not mean that we need to believe in crazed fairies!
