Which one is your favorite and why?

Pandora of course. Though most people wouldn't call her a goddess. But she was a god, as much as any of them anyway, before the greeks subverted her cult. Of course, the evidence for this is scanty at best.

      Hey Earn:
Last time I saw Zeus he was chasing a little chick around a tree on earth!
      He was a walking "erection!"
You know that! Just look at all the kids he has.
      it's gotta be genetic...eh?

All religions basing themselves on a mystical "GOD" concept have 3 doctrines in common.

    (a)selfless(undefined)
    (b)desire oppression(undefined)
    (c)belief in "god"(undefined)

Mythology is exactly that...Myth. It's proven to be not real.

On that note- Zeus was the most prolific of them all. smile

Zeus was a master smiter! Loved his family! They were a fine mix of the human condition personified.
An essential ingredient in a well rounded psychological understanding of life. smile

Yet to come across any perfect god character in my terms. But just for the sake of selection i might pick some from pagan god's list. Or will go with Erebus or God of time (Cronus).

      Jenny:
She was a helluva a gardener.
Thor said she's up at the crack of dawn every morning working on the lawn and and veggies.
He's worried about here hurting her back.
She spends so much time bent over...know what I mean?  :-)

I like throwing lightning bolts and causing "THUNDER!" with my magical hammer! The damned  thing was like a "boomerang!" I could throw it at an enemy, destroy it and it'd fly right back to me!
I had a belt that gave me the strength that only we "gods" can possess! Oh yes, My name is THOR!
PS....I used to like war too, when I was a kid, but when I grew up and my testosterone levels dropped, I gave it up."
Jupiter and I just hang around now watching the damned human fools on earth screwing up....we're easily entertained...:-)

Psychology takes many of these entities seriously in therapy because of the archetype.
I have met Aphrodite many times, but I do know it as a projection of my inner feminine, which is why Aphrodite takes different forms for different men.
Thank goodness for that! Otherwise all men would want the same woman as a partner. smile

    I believe in God, myself...

but if we are talking about mythological characters, I think that Testicles, the Greek God of sex, is kinda cool

      Greek:
Thor and Zeus both knew "god" when he was a kid.
They said he'd never grow up to be much. He's kinda "psychotic."
      By golly, they were right!
Woden chimed in and said ya know, "god" said he created the first 2 people on earth! The little scamp lied! I DID!
Kids! Always lookin' for attention! Jeez!

Let's go East...I've always thought Kali "The eater of worlds" was pretty awesome.

And Siva, the Lord of the Dance of Creation. Fascinating stuff.

@ Greek One lol I got a kick outta that.
