      If God granted me one wish, I would ask to realize God's power and presence. Such realization would transcend all, contain all, and be the ultimate gift.

         This reminded me of a story about this young woman that was being sent into solitary confinment for a year. the warden granted one wish. She asked for a year supply of cigarets.
         
           A year later she comes out of solitary asking for a Match.

   For one thing God doesn't grant wishes,so I wouldn't ask god to grant me anything.I would say a prayer and pray for my mom who is ready to go to heaven soon,that he would not let her suffer,even though I would like to have her around just a little longer.
