From a Holy Spirit filled mud-reed church to a barren brick church.
When neophyte Chintamani began to heal people by faith prayer, people thronged from far and near. He was a poor farmer of south Bengal, a province of India. He did that in one of his fields. There they suffered from sun and rain. By his and his co believer brother in law’s humble efforts a crude bamboo and reed thatch was constructed to shelter people. Moved by the Holy Spirit people shouted and sang there standing on muddy field below the reed roof. Multitude were healed and brought to faith.
But Heaven-fallen people cherish worldly things, believer or not. So they cherished the prospect of a permanent brick and cement church.
After long searching for support they found the Nazarene church willing to help. I also got acquainted with them and visited the reed church. Then Chintamani gifted that land to that organization as demanded and they gave some help to start construction promising to pay full as construction proceeds. But they defalcated to pay the full cost. All these organizations are full of corrupt people, who embezzle funds sent by donors. But the church was completed by chintamani and other believers’ humble helps. They were baptized by that Nazarene organisation too.  Then they withdrew from the scene for remoteness and poverty of people. They refused to do anything  further.  Chitamoni alone continued healing and prayer services there. But in that brick church Holy Spirit was far less than the muddy-field church. Healing became less. They were puzzled by that. But from Christ’s camel and needle story and Lasar beggar parable it is proved that Holy Spirit is with the humble, not with the well-off.  So no wonder that brick church was not blessed by Holy Spirit as the mud church was.
Then things deteriorated further. That Nazarene organisation suddenly wanted to start a project there funded by foreign donors after 7 years absence. It was obviously a ploy by them to get some swindled money through it by fiddling accounts. Here every organization do it. As Chintamoni has suffered from it before, he refused. They then threatened him with legal action as the church was their property. This divided that church too.

Chintamoni  asked me for advice when I went there for my monthly visit. I told him to give that church to that Nazarene organisation though they gave only part of the money required.  Christ gave even his body to those who sought it to kill by torture. I advised him to construct a reed-roof again over his mud-field and hold the services. Certainly Holy Spirit will again be with him as He was in the previous reed church.

Cool story.  Is it a true story?

Indeed, the Holy Spirit, the "Church", is in our hearts, no matter where we congregate.

Welcome to HugPages, my brother in Christ, according to your profile.

        Dear sister,
Certainly it is a true fact. Being a worshipper of God the love and truth I don’t indulge in fictions. I can give u their telephone numbers too and my blog link and internet book but fear that it is not allowed. Love

Your advice seems good. Too many people think a church is a building.

    What then did you expect?
Are they also taught that God is within the organisation (Christianity or what ever else) only.

So wherever ther organiosation meets, there God is.....

Only repentance for rejecting the humble love-god in heaven (crucified christ) and acepting Devil, the pride, to fall in this devil controled world, is sure to reunite with God. It is hidden in the subconscience in everyman, every culture. I, then a Hindu meditated it even in my childhood. It is the essence of christianity too.  But Devil, the pride, the controller of world has tken control of the church organisations.Still some people can get to real God through it.Love.
