    revelation 6

    1 at the same time that i saw the lamb (jesus) open the first of the seven seals, i heard one of the four living creatures shout with a voice like thunder. it said, "come and see!" (this is thought to refer to start of the end of the tribulation period when jesus will begin to dramatically control events on earth) 2 then i saw a white horse.(this is thought to be a reference to the anti-christ) its rider carried a bow (no arrows are mentioned which is thought to predict that he will slowly and possibly secretly prepare for war) and was given a crown.(this is thought to predict that he will take over the control of nations) he had already won some victories, and he went out to win more.(this is thought to predict military conquests of nations in the mode of adolph hitler )3 when the lamb opened the second seal, i heard the second living creature say, "come and see" 4 then another horse came out. it was fiery red.(this is thought to predict war) and its rider(this is thought to be a reference to the anti-christ) was given the power to take away all peace from the earth, so that people would slaughter one another.(even more than presently with our current death toll of one person dying every 2o seconds due to warfare!!) he was also given a large sword.(this is thought to predict that the anti-christ will start horrendous wars) 5 when the lamb opened the third seal, i heard the third living creature say, "come and see" then i saw a black horse, (this is thought to predict famine) and its rider had a balance scale in one hand.(this is thought to predict that food will be strictly rationed) 6 i heard what sounded like a voice from somewhere among the four living creatures. it said, "a quart of wheat will cost you a whole day's wages! three quarts of barley will cost you a day's wages too.and see that you don't ruin the olive oil or the wine."(this is thought to be a warning to not harvest food crops before they are ripe which occurs in famines)7 when the lamb opened the fourth seal, i heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "come and see". 8 then i saw a pale horse. its rider was named death, and hell's kingdom followed behind.(this indicates that most of those who died at this time were sent to hell) they were given power over one fourth of the earth, and they could kill its people with swords, famines, diseases, and wild animals. 9 when the lamb opened the fifth seal, i saw under the altar the souls of everyone who had been killed for speaking god's message and telling about their faith. 10 they shouted, "master, you are holy and faithful! how long will it be before you judge and punish the people of this earth who killed us?"11 then each of those who had been killed was given a white robe (a symbol of righteousness) and told to rest for a little while. they had to wait until the complete number of the lord's other servants and followers would be killed.(god's punishment for their murderers would be delayed until the end of the tribulation) 12 when i saw the lamb open the sixth seal, i looked and saw a great earthquake.(the first of many) the sun turned as dark (caused by smoke and dust created by the strong earthquake) as sackcloth,(this was a dark colored cloth) and the moon became as red as blood.(probably this color change will appear because of all the dust in the air)13 the stars (most likely these will be meteorites that are commonly called "shooting stars") in the sky fell to earth, just like figs shaken loose by a windstorm.(this will cause tremendous destruction) 14 then the sky was rolled up like a scroll,(god is finally going to strike fear even into the hearts of atheists) and all mountains and islands were moved from their places.(a massive earthquake has already caused an entire indonesian island to relocate to a slightly different location) 15 the kings of the earth, its famous people, and its military leaders hid in caves ( praise god!) or behind rocks on the mountains.(a hard place for hard hearts!) they hid there together with the rich and the powerful and with all the slaves (the latest estimate is that there are now over 27 million slaves of different varieties in the world today.the countries most likely to be controlled by the anti-christ are the nations where sex slavery is now the most wide-spread ,a business he is certain to encourage ) and free people. 16 then they shouted to the mountains and the rocks,(hey guys,don't do no good praying to rocks!) "fall on us! hide us from the one who sits on the throne and from the anger ( they still aren't repenting of their sins are they?) of the lamb. (the savior is going to shortly turn into a judge as well)17 that terrible day has come! (the end time of the tribulation) god and the lamb will show their anger and who can stand it? (humanity will have no ability to defend itself from the acts of punishment by god and jesus that are described in this book)

    =====================================

       References of time periods as stated in prophesy are specific periods of time.   They should not be rephrased to make them sound more sheek.

       They were told to wait yet a LITTLE  SEASON.
      A season is 1/4 of a year or 13 weeks.

    They were told to wait for almost but less than 13 weeks after the bloody Lamb arrived in heaven and immediately began opening the seals.

       But I seem to be the only one that believes this to be saying that.

      Just my opinion!

    2 Then I saw a white horse. Its rider carried a bow (NO ARROWS )
    and was given a crown
    - - - - -

      If you notice the emphasis is on the horse  (and oh by the way) the rider had a bow and no arrows,and a crown was given to him.  A possible identification of the rider given at bottom of page.  But wait to find out who.
    ================================================================

    4 Then another horse came out. It was fiery red. And its rider was given the power to take away all peace from the earth, so that people would slaughter one another He was also given a large sword.
    - - - - - - - - -
        Again emphasis on the horse;  And peace was taken away from the earth.  That they would fight ONE  ANOTHER.
        For reasons that I've mentioned before, In this instance  The EARTH  symbolizes Israel.
        After the death of Jesus, the Pharisees, Sadducees, and Zealots, all began fighting ONE ANOTHER within the city walls.
       This is what brought the army led by Titus to Jerusalem to put a stop to the civil war and disobedience.
    =============================================================

    And I beheld and lo a black horse and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.   ...  A measure of wheat for a penny and three measures of barley for a penny.
    - - - - -

      Yep,  this represents hunger.  While the civil war was going on, no one was tending the crops.  And the waring factions within the city was steeling each others food and what couldn't be stolen was destroyed.  People was getting hungry.

    ============================================

        behold a pale horse and he that sat on him was Death. And power was given unto him over the fourth part of the earth., to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
    - - - - - -
        The first three brought forth the conditions  and the fourth horse symbolizes death that follows the first three
    ======================================================

        Jesus immediately opens the seals that sets these things into motion though this takes some time to assimilate themselves.

    These events were accomplished with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD and the years that followed.  For the next few years , Titus hunted down and killed any and all Hebrews that were found carrying any form of weapon.

    Titus might have been represented as the rider of the white horse.  He had been the commander of the army but he didn't receive the crown until 79 AD when his father the Emperor died.  Within 30 days of Titus receiving the crown, There was a mighty earthquake and Mt. Vesuvius erupts fulfilling prophesy mentioned in Rev 6:12

    Prophesy can be understood as having been fulfilled,by examining the events in history and using a bare  minimum of our interpretative skills.

       Every one of the seal, trumpets, and bowl judgments can be seen as having been fulfilled when examined in similar fashion as demonstrated above.

      Correction; every one except the seventh trumpet and the seventh bowl.

    12 when i saw the lamb open the sixth seal, i looked and saw a great earthquake.(the first of many) the sun turned as dark (caused by smoke and dust created by the strong earthquake) as sackcloth

       A great earthquake occurred off the coast of Italy in 63 AD.
    (In divers places) It was severe enough that the damage caused in Pompeii that after 17 years the city had not yet been completely rebuilt.

       Earth quakes became more common that they are in California.  People got used to them and then in I think 77 AD another great earthquake set off the eruption of MT Vesuvius.

       Pliny the younger records that in Italy he could not see as far as the end of his nose at mid day.. Black as midnight on a moonless night and you are in a closet to boot.
      The wind was traveling about 15 mph in a south eastward direction.  Jerusalem would have felt the affects but not quite as drastically.

        It is possible that this event could have been seen as fulfillment of these prophesy?

       I am pretty sure that the people living at the time would have thought so.

    When we read these books, (Daniel and Rev.) we must read them from the prospective of the people that they were given to; if we want to understand them correctly.

       Can we really change the events of history just because we prefer to understand them differently?

       I gotta go now  back later.

    The sooner that people realize that the seven seals represent a time period from the crucifixion until the end of days for that Hebrew Nation that ceased to exist between 135 and 138 AD, the sooner scriptures become undebatable.

      The first five trumpet judgments were fulfilled between 547 and the mid 7Th century.

      The fifth trumpet depicts the rise of Islam.
