All I really know about Julian is that he lived in the 4th Century and tried to return the official religion of Rome back to the old pagan gods.

He sounds fascinating. Anyone know anything more?

Oh yes.  But occasionally I enjoy exchanging ideas with other people.

Gore Vidal did a historical novel about him.  Which I've read, but it was so long ago that I can't remember any of it LOL.

I remember reading across him when I was researching something else & never made it back again to do the proper reading just about his time as Emperor.

He was very well educated and a bit of fashion plate from what I recall.
