Is that any specific biblical basis to say that Christians cannot be affected by the devil ? Therefore in the same token, is there any Biblical basis to say a Christian cannot be possessed ?

Considering the devil was originally a serpent and a serpent is a snake perhaps yes. How do you mean possessed? Only things of the mind have the ability to take possession of a body if thats what you mean? And a snake cant do that unless it bites you can it?

Whenever the mind is taken over by any untruth it has been bit and the person themselves are usually unaware.

Well, in my opinion I think we can all be effected by the devil, or, by evil.  The devil, satan, is evil.  The world we live in is full of evil.  The Bible says, "Be ye angry and sin not.  Don't let the sun go down upon your wrath."  Can any one say that nothing makes them angry?  Can any one say that they never say something they shouldn't have?  No one is perfect.

That may  or not be  true ???
This falls under the category that no one wants to look at;    ...  Cause they are "SKERD"  to think that way !

I do not think a Christian can be possessed by an evil spirit.
The Christian must first turn from God before being possessed,
A Christian has Jesus in their hearts, and an evil spirit can not move in while Jesus is there, so the person must first move away from Jesus before the evil spirit can move in

when you come to Christ you become a new person,
being prejudice is an evil spirit. I was prejudice for many years, it was part of life when I was growing up 50 years ago in Arkansas, but when I became a new person, Gods love erased the prejudice out of my heart, an evil spirit can get one hooked on porn, an evil spirit can simply be something in some ones personality that makes them do bad things, like being a bully.
but once someone lets Gods love into their lives, God makes you a different type of person.
that is about the sum of it without writing a hub

When most of the world population is not even aware of the Bible or Jesus. Can I assume they will not be bitten by the Christian demons at all?

Can only the once Christians who turned away from Jesus and God do qualified to be possessed.

What about the people who are aware of the bible, but do not subscribed to the bible, can they qualified to be possessed too?

If we use exorters definition of an evil spirit, I would say yes and that it doesn't matter who we are or what we subscribe to.

        Just an opinion ??
I'd say that they would not be bitten by the Christian demons,  they would have their own to deal with or not.

A rose by any other name is still a rose.
It would seem that I have my own personal demons that look nothing like yours or someone else's.

        No anwers yet.

I don't understand why anyone would subscibe to christainity and all its demons during our life span and most likely you will send your entire life perparing to meet the lord Satan rather than lord God.

Why blame most of the people as being demonic toward your faith?

Now IF I had done that ?   That would be very misguided !
If I (personally) ever do that please let me know immediately and I will acknowledge that and mend my demonic ways.

You are one of the few Christians that attempt to answer many of my challenging questions, that’s much better than blow offs.

Children are the best at asking questions and the champion of learning. Unfortunate for most adults they have lost their fresh imagination

Yes, Children make such good philosphers and scientists, because they do ask questions and take nothing for granted. It is when we take things for granted and the things other tell us as "truth" that we fall into traps that may lead our actions in the/a wrong/harmful direction. Reading ,thinking, duscussing, and keeping a sense of reason, and controlling/informing that which is irrational in our human nature is what  will keep us toward a path of light.

I feel I need to renew my sense of gratitude for my blessings each day and my connection to other humans in the qualities that make me human, and that which redeems. Love the story of Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo. I could read it all over again!

I am a Catholic Christian and feel that I engage in the mass insofar it is meaningful to me. My beliefs are a bit "progressive" as catholics may go, and feel that past Catholics have caused so much pain and that is because of a false sense of duty...almost like those crazy people who commit "Jihad." Who told them that they would gain a large harem of virgins in the next life if they commit heinous murder? Ugh!

          Thank you

We adults tend to make things much more difficult that it really is.
Grandpa always told me to look for simple answers.
The best answers are usually found close to the door step and they do not require much of a search.

I always get lost when I attempt to carry the burden of technical answers.
They get technical enough when we try to keep them simple.

When we start out getting too technical to begin with, I'll try to sit down and think about it some more before I go any farther in that direction.

Maybe I've overlooked something.  If not? Then I go ahead on.
