what is a succubus: a personal experience?

   what is a succubus? based on the info from my  relationship with one over a year. they are neither angel or demon. nor human. but a little bit of both.
   they are neither good nor evil. but are like us; have both natures. they are found in every mythology. and in every religion. either as peris, apsaras, lilim, ardat lili,laras, sidhes, nymphs, fays, lamae. in every folkalore or legend that tells of spirit women who mate with mortal men. if you love them. they will return that love. if you hate them they will return that hate in so many ways. so if you ever get invovled with one. treat her with love and respect. otherwise you will suffer the same fate as Adam did with their mother and queen Lilith.

      There are three Existent in Creation ... The Humans, Angels, and d'Ginns ... Rest of these variously named creatures, are fables ...
      
      What you refer to as the Succubi, are either d'Ginns, or Satanic Humans ... the early morning Milkman could be one ... And as your list shoes, this Phenomenon/Alibi,  is known by many different names, in different cultures.

      I thought Lilith was Adams' first wife and she wouldn't walk behind him but was his equal to walk beside him. Adam didn't like that so she left and became Lucifers wife. Am I incorrect on this? Please tell.

   There are no,and was not women demons that was cast out of heaven with the masses of fallen angels.Demons have no physical ability to produce humans.And there was no women in heaven when God created the heaven and the earth.

      iv had these alot! so much once that it did stop me from sleeping for a good two months! iv had the experiences of being held down and to stop it id have to try and breathe really fast and loud to get my ex partner to wake me propely it is very scary! the worst experince i have had like this i was so sure it was a spirit it scared me very much ! i was getting into bed one night my friends daughter was in the bed next me she is 8yrs old and my friend was in the room next door sleeping on the sofa, i pulled the covers up and closed my eyes im prety sure i was awake id just got into bed this was a horrible feeling of not being able to move then suddenly something strangling my neck for about 30-60 seconds i cant be sure of time exactly but im not sure if something was shaking me or i was shaking it to get it off of me i opened my eyes as my head is moving (shaking) and i could see like a grey smokey thing right in my face ( the 'thing' looked like if you light a lighter and look above itit looks like moving waves from the heat it was like that , like looking above a toaster at the heat rising ) as it stopped i sat straight up my chest and neck hurting trying to realise or even make sense of what had just happened two mins of sitting up my friends daughter sat up and burst out crying i calmed her down and said whats the matter she replied that a blue ghost was in my passage calling her she did not remember this the next day! iv also a few months ago been sleeping and been woken up by a hand sliding underneath my belly while i was lying on my side, the next day i thought nothing of it! the next night it happened again it feels as if someone is cuddling your side and belly or sliding there hand under to carry you, this time when i woke up i grabbed the hand and turnt my head back to see what was there i saw bright white line up to the ceiling it dissaperead, two days later i sadly had a miscarriage! im not sure what these expereinces are, i beleive it could be ghosts or simply my conciuos of being worried of being held down in my sleep that made me go to sleep with scared of weird things happening being on my mind! it scared me alot only some people belive me! i do not take drugs and was not drinking alcohol when these happened!

                  i know this sounds silly but about a year ago it stopped but it happened for many years it could just be paranoid me lol but when ever i used to go upstairs and the light was off behind me i used to feel the presence of something chasing me i got a feeling it was always in the corner at the bottom of the stairs next to my mirror iv never ever seen but think i know what it looks like a tall dark man ! i use to run up the stairs this happened in two different houses when i was with my ex partner he thought it was funny but it really scared me since we broke up and he no longer lives with me it stopped!

         @flowers00 You should look up sleep paralysis and hallucinations.
         I've had this happen since i was young, the feeling of having intercourse with a nonhuman.  Sometimes i wanted it, sometimes i felt forced. I had never heard about the incubus/succubus until i was old enough to do research and find out about my experiences. For a long time this encounters freaked me out, mostly because i thought i was being touched by an entity. It was only a couple of years ago that i came across the medical term "sleep paralysis" and this described in such a good way my symptoms and is very often accompanied by hallucinations. Since finding out anout this sleeping disorder i've felt more empowered and sure of myself when the encounters happen, i just tell myself it's not real and try my best to make my body jerk out of the paralysis. I want to be clear about the envounters with this non human looking entities, I'm in a state of either falling sleep or just waking up, but i'm certainly not in a dream, asleep nor druged. I'm wide awake, my eyes are open, i can see the book i just read in bead, the fan on like i left it, in other words i'm aware of my surroundings but my boday is shut down, only my eyes move, it's in this state that the figures appear, with noises and so many more details that would be too long to describe. I'm awake, paralized, see the figure, hear it, feel it snd there's nothing i can do except gather all my strength to move my body and get out of the paralysis and hallucination.
         I still don't know for sure what to think of it, us it just my brain working on a dream while i'm
         awake? or is there a spiritual world that i come in contact with while i'm in this vulnerable state. I would like to read what you think.

   flowers00, I believe you. You may have had an experience with a dis-embodied entity. There are those who try to explain away these things as only happening in the mind and with some sleep paralysis this is true. What you've described though is something more. Keep searching. New scientific theories like 'string theory' etc. may answer some of these mysteries soon or at least give us a clearer path to walk on.

   I don't know if a succubus is real. However, I heard sleep paralysis occurs because you are getting raped by one...
   
   Sometimes, I can move my hands, but am sleeping, and can't move anything else. I force myself to wake up by constantly moving my hands on the bed.
   
   Technically, idk if I am actually moving my hands or not, but it feels like I am. Its hard for me to say if this is a medical thing, or an actual succubus. Doctors would say health related.
   
   BUT IT IS VERY SCARY WHEN THAT HAPPENS TO ME!!!!! Hopefully, I am not getting raped because its such a terrible feeling to only be able to move hands and actually KNOW that you are asleep, but can't move any other body part....or open up eyes, unless I force myself awake.
   
   Then I wake up and my heart is racing.
   
   
   
   Has anyone else experienced the feeling of moving hands while sleeping, and you could feel them, but can not open eyes or move other parts of body??????

   LOL, it doesn't need to be a demon to be a succubus.  I've know lots of women who qualify for that title, but I think in modern terms they are probably called by another name.  I'm sure everybody has experienced at least one of two of these during the course of their lifetime.

   Hi, I just created a profile here on hub because I wanted to share my story about what I think might be but might not be at all, a succubus. First of all, I am not a superstitious person at all. I am non practicing, in other words, a non-religious person. I would say that I lean more towards spirituality than religion. I enjoy martial arts - currently taking Kung-fu.
   
   Now, to my story: recently, I had a dream, one of many that I've had, but really do not think to much about or give a whole lot of significance to. But this dream for some reason made me think of the possibility of a succubus in my dreams, especially this one particular dream.
   
   I dreamt that I was in a room, where I had come in from another totally unrelated dream, which I don'r remember about ( that's alot a dreams for ya) but here I am and I remember standing over the sofa and in the sofa there's my girlfriend - the one I think to be the succubus- and there's a prescence of a guy on another sofa, but I don't see his face. Anyway, I ask her if she wants to have sex, and she immediately replies with a yes. So, like a dream, were in the bed room and she's tearing my clothes of and we begin to have sex. However, Im doing her with all my might, but feel as if I am not pleasing her, so I go down on her. All the while I have the sensation that she is putting me down, as a man - I feel pretty inadequate, so I try even harder to please her. Basically, I see her as being Native american, with dark skin, and she has a way of really putting you down, though I try my hardest to please her. I don't know, it could be everything, could be nothting. Just wanted to share. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks.
