We tend to see different dreams with various emotions and meanings. Freud had several vies about dreams. What do you think?

Dreams definitely mean something. But the symbols of a person's dream are specific to that person. What appears in one person's dream would likely mean something different to another person.

Yeah I have had some crazy ones recently. Actually, I thought of you when I realized I had a dream of being in Austrailia. Never been down under but in the dream I knew that's where I was. Weird one.

I guess a careful glance at what "Australia" means to you would be enlightening. smile

Only thing I can think of is it's a place I've always thought to go but never went. Never been below the Equator at all in fact.

I believe dreams are unique to the individual, but that they do contain valuable information when you take the time to learn your own symbolism and dream language.  Some symbols are universal (many people dream of things like falling or teeth falling out etc) but the true meaning will still depend on the events in the dreamers life, his/her thoughts, emotions, etc.

Yes dreams do serve a purpose and I have learned a lot about myself over the years by paying attention.

Whenever I have vivid dreams and wake up,they are recorded on a tape recorder. The next morning they are logged on my dream diary. With in three days the dreams come true

I recorded all my dreams in longhand for 3 years, but it was never about dreams coming true, it was about the work of the subconscious to inform consciousness.

Yeah, it's your subconscious mind trying to make sense of reality......by not making much sense!  LOL!

I don't think every dream means something. It could be just leftover junk in our subconcious but I do believe alot of times we can find out the meanings of why we dreamed something. I believe God gives us dreams sometimes, even prophetic dreams.

I think it means you should go to bed early instead of watching Star Trek Re-runs. big_smile
