An Infidel

    Good day

    this is mostly to English speakers.
    so please participate.

    calling somebody an infidel would sometimes upset some people.

    I think it would be normal to do so if we apply the defintion below.

    infidel

    so in this case:
    I am an infidel in christianity and christians are infidels in islam.

    evolutionists are infidels in both religions.

    so:
    Do you think calling someone an infidel causing any kind of offence? why?

        what I meant is :
        in English ' is the infidel the same as the unbeliever' ?

    Well, I am not offended because I understand the meaning of the word. Although it has been used in the past as an insult.

    But, I also know plenty of "evolutionists," who believe in God or Allah. What would you call them?

    Only the truly ignorant think evolution is a religion of some sort rather than a scientific theory.
