Love is Jesus Christ, there is know way we can be happy without Love. Love that is not true looks like true love, but it want last. There are three loves, there is brotherly Love, the love beween a husband and wife and there is God's Love (self sacificing Love). You can't realing love your brother until you love God, and you can't really love God until you love your brother. True love is God's way not man. Man way might look better than God's way, but in time you will see it's not. God states: what God have put togeather, let no man put under.
Yes, only the love of God lasts and endures. Also, we are to love others as we love ourselves; i.e., we are not to love ourselves more than we love others (Mark 12:31; Matthew 22:39).
Love, at its most basic, is putting the needs of another before your own . Imo. So, the story of Christ does fit that definition.
