Reading the many different religious and non-religious views on here, as well as talking to friends, I have come to believe that we all see evidence that we expect to see. If we are atheists, we see real evidence that God does not exist. If we believe in God and expect to have our prayers answered, then this is what seems to happen. I am beginning to wonder if we can be certain of anything, because we view reality through our own minds, which have been shaped by constantly using them in the same way. Even science seems to recognise that what is observed seems to react to observer.
I wrote a hub - "Do You See Knowledge and Wisdom"?
Many people continue to claim that reality is based on perception and that perception(view) is incorrect.
