Clinging is a desire

Clinging is a desire and it is ever eating away at us. I cling to what I believe I am and this is causing my pain. I suffer because of my mind and what I think it wants, but wants nothing. Grasp at water and you hold nothing. A moment is like water and every moment waisted, is useless to us all. We must use our time wisely for it is short in this world, but being trapped by time makes a restless mind.

Trishna? I'm reading essays by Watts, but some of them I have to read twice or more.

Trying to wrap your mind around it is the problem. Let the truth of it come to you as the seasons come to the world. It is simple but the mind complicates it, for we desire to understand it.
