God is not disillusioned with us. He never had any illusions to begin with.

We may have illusions of our life or what Jehovah wants us to do in our life, but He has no illusions. He knows us so very well and just what we are capable of. Our duty is to surrender our will to Him and allow Him to be what He wants us to be. Joseph- Anthony: Green

God is not disillusioned with us. He never had any illusions to begin with.

When I first became a Christian I thought I was serving Jesus by blindly going out and doing missionary work without asking for His guidance. My theory was “I will go out and serve You as I see fit my Lord. If I need Your help I will call, okay.” Of course although there was some success, it was not the path Jesus had chosen for me to serve Him.

Then when He did finally give me the call after five years I thought He was crazy. He wanted me to go to a country far away where I did not speak the language and into a very desolate place. With a lot of reservations I obeyed the call. It was difficult and still is. However, in the seven years since then, by His grace I have lead others to Him. They had never even heard of Him but eagerly accepted Him into their lives. It was only a few. But, to Jesus, even one is important.

When you become disillusioned do not get down on yourself or want to quit. Do not believe satans lies that God thinks you are a loser. He loves you and is patient with you. As well, be patient. God works in His time not ours. Think of how long Paul had to wait before He began his ministry.

Prayer: Thank you Father, for never giving up on me or become impatient with me. Thank you for your wonderful guidance and purpose in my life. In Jesus’ sweet wonderful name we pray. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
