My personal story about drunk driving is this

: A personal account of the horrors of drunk driving.

My personal story about drunk driving is this :

We grew up on a small farm.

One hot muggy day we were hoeing out in the fields. There was this tremendous boom so powerful it shook the ground. We thought the boiler exploded at the nearby school so we ran toward the school.

At the intersection of the school there was an accident. A drunk driver ran a stop sign and slammed into car. The impact shoved the steering wheels up the mans abdomen and his guts were coming out of his mouth, he was still alive. His wife was sleeping at the time of the accident. When the accident happened her door flung open and as she was falling out, the door slammed back shut. It nearly decapitated her head completely. Her head was hanging out the door with her body inside the car.

Needless to say they both died.

They were going from their wedding party to Niagara Falls for their honeymoon. They were buried in their wedding outfits.

I was eight years old when this happened and will never forget it.

I firmly believe if we started charging people with murder when they kill someone drunk driving we would have a lot less drunk drivers.

Whenever I see a drunk trying to get into their car to drive away I try to stop them. I inform them I will pay for the taxi to take them home. If they refuse, I beat the hell out of them, take their keys and throw them away. THEN I call the police.

Remember this: If you drink don’t drive. You may regret it the rest of your lives. AND, you may destroy other peoples lives.

Please feel free to share this story. Maybe copy it out and put it on the bulletin board at work or someplace people will see it. It is important.

Good advice on drunk driving. I'm glad I stopped when I did. I hope all drivers read this testimony. Voted up and useful
