Pray for One Another
Love One Another | Pray For Each Other
God has called us to love one another. This is a huge part of our relationship with God. Through loving one another, we get closer to Him. Jesus says the way we love one another will be the mark of His disciples. The Following are just a few scriptures that prompt us to love one another:
- John 13:34
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
- John 13:35
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
- Romans 12:10
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
- Romans 13:8
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.
- Galatians 5:13
You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature ; rather, serve one another in love.
- Ephesians 4:2
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
- Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
- 1 Peter 1:22
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.
- 1 Peter 3:8
Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.
As you can see, loving and caring for each other is really important to God! He loves us, and one of his best ways of showing this is through us. We are His hands and feet, so it is our job to show His love to one another.
One thing we can do right now to show God's love is through prayer. So many people are hurting. So many of us need love. So many of us need prayer; It is our job as a body of Christ to be there for each other, and to pray for one another. So I want to encourage you to be aware to those around you, and find someone that needs your prayer and support. And if you are hurting, let someone know().
Pray, pray pray! We are God's hands and feet, so let us show His love!
