2007 College Football's Undisputed National Champs
2007 Bowl Playoffs
Settled on the Field 2007 Playoffs of College Football
Let's take a look back at the 2007 college football season. It ended with LSU beating Ohio State in the BCS National Title Game in New Orleans 38-24. That year LSU won the title with two losses! But there were other worthy teams that had great seasons as well. LSU and West Virginia both lost there final regular season games while the next week Missouri lost to Oklahoma in the Big 12 Title Game, all those team finished with two losses with Oklahoma, LSU and West Virginia still winning there conferences. USC won the Pac 10 bye winning the tie breaker with Arizona State as both teams finished with two conference losses but the Trojans smashed Arizona State in week 11 of the '07 college football season. Meanwhile Ohio State won the Big Ten losing only one game to Illinois. Hawaii was the only undefeated team that year going (12-0) winning the WAC but they only beat one ranked team and that team was #17 Boise State which is in the same conference. Two teams that had good season that did not win there conferences were Georgia of the SEC and Kansas of the Big 12. So here is how 2007 should have ended with a playoff system to determine a undisputed national champion without the drama of the BCS.
