Andriy Voranins winning shot against Anzhi
Dynamo Moscow 2-1 Anzhi Makhackala
In Friday action Dynamo Moscow was gifted a 2-1 win at home over Anzhi Makhackala. The home club took an early lead after Pavel Solomatin put his shot into the bottom right corner of the net. Anzhi would lose a man four minutes later when Ewerton committed a last man foul on Solomatin. Anzhi held tough and leveled the score in the 83rd minute with a beautiful header from a set piece from Samba. But Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez had a hand ball violation in the penalty box called against him in stoppage time setting up Andriy Voranins winning penalty shot in stoppage time as Dynamo would win at home 2-1.

Volga Nizhny Novgorod 1-2 Lokomotiv Moscow
After a first half battle that yielded no goals the second half would see three. Lokomotiv jumped on board in 63rd minute when Maicon headed home a shot from Aleksandr Samedov off a set piece. Volga would answer back when Mulumba Mukendi killed a right footed shot outside the box into the top left corner. Roman Shishkin put Lokomotiv back ahead in 87th minute when he put his free kick into top left corner of goal. They would hold on for 2-1 win.
Kuban Krasnodar Players Celebrating
FC Tom Tomsk 1-2 FC Kuban Krasnodar
Kuban started Saturday play of with a bang as Ibrahima Balde scored in the sixth minute on a right footed shot that found the bottom leftside of goal. Kuban was not done as Aras Ozbiliz made it 2-0 for the road club after his shot found the bottom left corner in the 13th minute. The home club would rebound in 24th minute as Kirill Panchenko scored on a free kick putting it into the top left corner of the goal. They couldn't score again as Kuban won 2-1.
Rubin Kazan 2-1 Zenit St Petersburg
Central Stadium saw a great match-up between two great clubs. Zenit jumped out ahead in the sixth minute when Danny put his close range shot into the bottom right corner of the net. That score would stand pat as Zenit took a 1-0 lead into half. Gokdeniz Karadeniz didn't waste any time in the second half leveling the score, he buried the ball into the bottom left corner in the 51st minute. As time was running out. Salomon Rondon scored five minutes into stoppage time with a header of the cross from Oleg Kuzmin. Rubin had fought back and won the match 2-1 to the delight of their fans.
Terek Grozny 1-1 Amkar Perm
Terek got the home crowd yelling early when Igor Lebedenko put his right footed shot into the bottom left corner of goal in 12th minute. They score would stay 1-0 until the 55th minute when Martin Jakubke would level the score with his header of a set piece delivered by Konstantin Vassilijev. That is how the match finished as both clubs earned a point for their efforts.
FC Rostov 2-2 FK Krasnodar
Krasnodar grabbed an early lead when Marcio Abreu put his shot into the top left corner in 25th minute. Their lead was shot lived as following a set piece situation Timofei Kalachev scored in the bottom right corner of the goal for Rostov in 17th minute. That is how it would go into half with both clubs looking for the win once the second half started. Rostov acted first as Artem Dzyuba converted a penalty shot in 49th minute following Aleksandr Martynovich's bad foul on Aleksandr Gatcan in the penalty box. As the home crowd felt a win was before them Wanderson put a shot into the bottom right corner of the net following a corner kick for Krasnodar. Neither team would score in stoppage time as the final score was 2-2.
Ural Sverdlovsk 0-2 Spartak Moscow
For the first half the home fans that packed Central Stadium Yekaterinburg thought their club might have a chance for a win. That was quickly erased in second half when Sergey Parshivlyuk's pass was put in the center on goal by Aiden McGeady in 51st minute. Emmanuel Emenike made it 2-0 with his goal in 90th minute. His right footed shot found the center of the goal to give Spartak Moscow a 2-0 road win over Ural.

CSKA Moscow 2-1 Krylia Sovetov
Metallurg Stadium saw an exciting match between the home club CSKA and Krylia. Georgy Schennikov was given a direct Red card for a foul in the eighth minute. Five minutes later Krylia would take the lead after Ilya Maksimov coverts a penalty shot after he was fouled by Alan Dzagoev in the box. Things settled down for the most part for the rest of the half. So one red card and five yellows cards were given out in that first half. CSKA would own the second half even with a man down. Seydou Doumbia took Alan Dzagoev's pass and put it straight into the goal in the 67th minute. Only 12 minutes later Doumbia would score again, this time he converted his penalty shot after Ivan Taranov fouled him in the box. CSKA would hold on and win 2-1 at home.
