If to be but one recording, on the paper of time,

nothing more precious, or could be so sublime,

The message that's left from the human hand,

and a statement to all, of saying, yes, we can!

We must share this world and all that's within it,

then give of ourselves, and all, that seems so fit.

To compete, yet in respecting, of all the nations,

enjoying the color, and of the sport's sensations.

No matter, the fate that tomorrow may bring,

just raise our voices in rejoicing, all to sing.

The earth and all of its beauty we can see,

is meant as a gift, and for all of our humanity.

The human needs, are a part of us each,

our legacy to leave, for our futures, we so teach.

All love and the sharing, and a spirit of our caring,

is a heart felt expression, without any sparing.

The voyage and life of this, our human race,

is a product of benevolence, of a Kingly grace.

The great strides of the many, upon this sphere,

is a showing of our courage, without any fear.

Our God given blessings, are beyond compare,

no gold, or gems more precious, or to be as rare.

There's a reason for each of us to be here, alive,

to face this life's challenges, in strength, to survive.

There is rhyme and reasoning, in our birth,

our time, is so reflected, in the human worth,

Made from the same clay, each creature of the soil,

its proven values in the work, and our toil.

The powerful force, of a creator, is divine,

amid spiraling stars, and the universe, is so kind.

Giving an intellect, the intelligence, within all to be,

the defining credit, that sets us each free.

Beyond concepts of infinity, forever, or all time,

as striking of a silver bell, in its single chime,

A life force, so given, by a Creator's careful hands,

blending the molecular, and formed, as strong iron bands.

As a clay made pot and of the earth's own roots,

a displaying of such beauty, to be of His fruits.

The breath of life, begins our journey, for all to take,

and forever, in His love, and to never, forsake.

Olympians rejoice in your fine feats, and well done,

You exemplify the best and in all that we try, as one.

All heart and inner spirit, yours, you all proudly do show,

Sending a joyful message, and a grand voice we all know.

I like the way your poem transitions from a tribute to the Olympic spirit to a tribute to the Creator. Well done!

I especially like your thoughts, Our God given blessings, are beyond compare,

no gold, or gems more precious, or to be as rare.

There's a reason for each of us to be here, alive,

to face this life's challenges, in strength, to survive."
