Carrying Capacity of Cowboys Stadium: Worlds Largest Dome

Carrying Capacity of Cowboys Stadium: Worlds Largest Dome

They say everything is big in Texas, one proof is this -- the Cowboys Stadium

This place is seven minutes away from my location and I visited it twice already.

The "Cowboys Stadium" ---- Home of the National Football Leagues' Dallas Cowboys and it will host the 2011 Superbowl

FACTS:

Location -- Arlington, Texas, USA -- ten minutes away from Dallas

May 13, 2009: Jerry Jones announced the official name of the new venue as “Cowboys Stadium". The conceptualization started way back in 1994 when Jerry Jones want to create a doomed stadium which could entertain another 40, 000 seats to the old stadium which has the capacity of 60,000

Thank you Maita. I hope you don't take offense to this, but I'm so happy that the Giants beat the Cowboys in their maiden game (first game :D). I guess you could say we christianed the stadium from the outset! (Can you tell I don't like the Cowboys???)

Thanks, Maita!

Hhhhmmm, I've been a fan of the Cowboys for years...However, being in school for the last two years I have not had a chance to be a fan of any team. And have not been able to get back into sports yet this year. Hopefully, I'll have time to play catch up over the holidays... Another great idea for a hub, Maita!

This is a beautiful statium. Never seen it in person but I better head down there one day. It would be great to experince it during a game, and Maita, don't worry I am not a Dallas fan either.

Ok...I guess it will do...for Dallas...! (When compared to the Reliant Dome in Houston...LOL!) Enjoyed your pics and facts on it. This is actually the first time I've seen what it looks like...as I don't follow too much on Da' Boys! It is Ok...I like how it kind'a looks like 1/2 of a football from the side view. Enjoyed reading on it...Good idea for a Great Hub, PDH

When I produced NFL TV in the 60's (ad agencies owned the games not the networks), I would travel to Dallas with the Detroit Lions (8 years worth). Friday Night was a college Booster Event with everyone carrying a paper bag. Saturday was the college game and we played on Sunday. Neither team was good so we played some stumble bum affairs, then u got Starbauch who made a winner out of Dallas. David Russell

You had me at " I don't like them either". I went to school in Dallas ( lived in Valley Ranch) and you could imagine what that was like being from Philadelphia. That was just before the new stadium was built and I haven't been back to see it yet. I just hope it is equipped with enough tissue boxes for when the Eagles come down there and smack em around!
