My 30 Top Returning Quarterbacks for College Football 2011
College Football is a Quarterback League Too
Since 2000 a quarterback has taken home the heisman trophy 9 times the last 10 years. Only Alabama's Mark Ingram (RB) took home a heisman trophy that was not a quarterback. So it is safe to say that the quarterback position has dominated the heisman trophy like the SEC has dominated the bcs title game. In 2000 Chris Weinke of Florida State took home the heisman trophy on his way to winning a national title game against Virginia Tech quarterbacked by Michael Vick. Sam Bradford won the heisman in 2008 leading Oklahoma into the BCS Title Game against Florida that had the 2007 heisman winning quarterback Tim Tebow. So here are my top returning quarterbacks for the 2011 season that can either win a heisman or lead there team to a successful season.
