The English Premier League - The Best Football League In The World!

The English Premier League is the best league in the world! With footballers like Steven Gerrard, David Silva, Fernando Torres, Luis Suarez, Wayne Rooney and many many more, you have to agree that the Premier League is the best league in the world.

The football matches are played at a very high tempo with physical battles all over the pitch, the fans are always on the edge of their seat. There is nothing better than a weekend of Premier League football action with teams like Manchester United, Liverpool Football Club, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and many others.

The English Premier League (EPL) is so exciting because it is so unpredictable, unlike the Scottish Premier League (SPL) where only Celtic and Rangers are always challenging for trophies, and only one of the two wins trophies. Also i have to mention the Spanish BBVA League where only Barcelona and Real Madrid are always the title contenders.

The EPL has been won 19 times by Manchester United, but the power is shifting to Manchester City and other teams do challenge for the Premier League title aswell, so it is unpredictable which team will win the Premier League.

Why Is The Premier League So Exciting?

The Premier League matches are always unpredictable and you cannot bet on who will win a match. In 2011-2012 season Chelsea lost away to Queens Park Rangers who were promoted that season, Manchester City hammered Manchester United 6-1 at Old Trafford, and Liverpool Football Club drew 1-1 with Norwich, who were also newly promoted that season.

When thousands of football fans fill a stadium to watch their heroes battle it out on the pitch for 90 minutes, when all the fans are singing together, when the referee blows the whistle for kick off, for 90 minutes, it is pure passion and adrenaline pumping experience.

Some of the goals that are scored in certain circumstances feel like an adrenaline rush and makes you jump up and scream at the top of your lungs! When a superstar striker takes on 3 or 4 defenders, twisting and turning, using his ultimate arsenal of skills and then shoots in to the bottom corner of the goal, it leaves the fans in awe of the superstar striker. Jumping up and down, shouting and screaming, the fans love it when there is a player who shows off his skills and scores a goal with amazing pace and power. This is what it's all about in the English Premier League. The fans are serious about who they support and it is like a religion. There's nothing else that compares to 90 minutes of football every weekend.

I look forward to watching Liverpool Football Club play every weekend or whenever a match is on. The biggest games for LFC are against Manchester United and the local team to LFC, Everton Football Club. These games are always exciting and the fans truly get passionate when the match is against Liverpool's biggest rivals.

To support LFC, one of the world's best football clubs int the world, is the most enjoyable part of my life. When the players are followed out of the changing rooms behind the manager, Kenny Dalglish, the legendary Liverpool player, and they touch the LFC emblem on the wall, with the chanting of the fans echoing down the tunnels of the stadium, it is a feeling that cannot be matched by anything else. I simply love it!

Every single football fan looks forward to the weekend of football in the Premier League and to support their team all the way. Even if their teams wins, loses or draws they still sing away in huge numbers which echoes around the football stadiums around the country. There are thousands of fans who fill the football stadiums wearing their team colours to show their support whenever there is a football match on.

This is the English Premier League, this is FOOTBALL!

I would agree too - but people tend to underestimate the Brazilian league - there is some great football played there.

It is hard to argue objectively that one league is better then another. Football fans worldwide are all passionate about their team and their sport. The German Bundesliga has the 2nd highest average attendance of any sport in the world. The EPL has improved from the basic kick and rush to adding skillful play.
