The National Football League is played in the United States of America. Also know as the N.F.L., the National Football League has 32 teams that are divided into two conferences and eight divisions. Football has been played organized since the late 1910s. The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears are two of the oldest franchises in the history of American football. The A.F.L. merged with the N.F.L. and the National Football League was formed as the only professional league in America. The first championship was called the Superbowl. Since their respected teams were organized, statistics have been kept. Below are the records of all N.F.L. organizations since they were founded.

The Chicago Bears have the most wins in N.F.L. history with 704. The Green Bay Packers are 2nd in wins with 664, despite being the oldest team in the N.F.L. The New York Giants are 3rd in the N.F.L. with 636 wins. Chicago, Green Bay, and the New York Giants are the only 3 teams in the N.F.L. that have 600 wins or more. Seattle and Carolina are the only two teams in the N.F.C. Conference that doesn't have a tied game. The Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the worst winning percentages in the N.F.C. Conference.

AMERICAN FOOTBALL CONFERENCE

The Pittsburgh Steelers lead the A.F.C. Conference in wins with 541. The Steelers lead the N.F.L. with 7 championships. The Indianapolis Colts are 2nd in the division with 451, which is ranked 12th in the N.F.L. The Cleveland Browns are third in the conference with 438 wins, which is 13th in the N.F.L. The Houston Texans and the Cincinnati Bengals have the lowest winning percentages in the American Football Conference. Cincinnati has only won 286 games and the Houston Texans have only won 55.

Back in the 60's, my dad and I were fans of the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and the Los Angles Rams.

Thanks for the comment Sueswan. I would have loved to watch the Packers play back in those days with Bart Starr and others. I believe Starr won 5 titles in his life. I can't remember, I know he won the first two Superbowls though.

As a Bears fan....I am proud to say we are on top.......but, it does help they have been around much longer than most of the others...
