Week Seven of 2014 will always be known as the week where Peyton Manning broke Brett Favre's all time career touchdown passes record. Congratulations to him and his Broncos, who look like the best team in the NFL.

The defending Super Bowl Champs trade away a malcontent for next to nothing, admitting to a mistake and moving on. Now, they find themselves in third place and playing very inconsistent and uninspired football. Meanwhile, the Cardinals, Cowboys and Colts continue to impress.

Slides continue for the Panthers and Bengals, two early Super Bowl contenders. As we approach the halfway point of the season, things are starting to look a little clearer, Also, the Jaguars put serious damage in their quest for the first overall pick, as they stomped on the Browns. Now it's up to the raiders to hold on to the mantel of the NFL's worst team. Will it last? Derek Carr looks ready to lead his team to victory... but he will have to do it alone, as the raiders can't play defense or run the football.

What's in store for Week Eight?

Bye weeks: New York Giants, San Francisco

San Diego (5-2) at Denver (5-1)

Expect a lot of points in this battle for first place. The Chargers typically play well against Denver but are coming off a tough home loss. The Broncos are looking as sharp as ever on offense and I think that, coupled with home field advantage, has this game leaning towards Denver.

Chargers 30 Broncos 35

result: Chargers 21 Broncos 35

Seahawks (3-3) at Carolina (3-3-1)

his is a must win for both these teams. The Seahawks dominated on both sides of the ball last week and yet still lost the game. The Panthers have been scoring in bunches but have been allowing points in buckets. Even with the second of a back to back, the Hawks did some good things last week and I think they play angry and come out focused this week.

Seahawks 24 Panthers 20

result: Seahawks 13 Panthers 9

Baltimore (5-2) at Cincinnati (3-2-1)

The Ravens have been on fire lately and the Bengals have looked sloppy and inconsistent. Bengals are home, which helps, but the Ravens are clearly the better team and that shows here in my upset special.

Ravens 26 Bengals 19

result: Ravens 24 Bengals 27

Miami (3-3) at Jacksonville (1-6)

Ryan Tannehill has been playing phenonemal football. The Jags are coming off their first win against a good Browns football team. The Dolphins pass rush and Tannehill's accuracy make the difference here in a close one.

Dolphins 20 Jaguars 17

result: Dolphins 27 Jaguars 13

St. Louis (2-4) at Kansas City (3-3)

The Rams used trickery to beat Seattle, but were outplayed badly in the second half again and nearly lost another double digit lead. The Chiefs just upset the Chargers on the road, now they come home to face a Rams team searching for it's identity. Chiefs win,

Rams 20 Chiefs 24

result; Rams 7 Chiefs 34

Chicago (3-4) at New England (5-2)

The Bears just lost a bad game at home to the Dolphins and a rift seems to be appearing. The Patriots have looked downright unstoppable the past few weeks. This one has blow out written all over it.

Bears 16 Patriots 31

result: Bears 23 Patriots 51

Buffalo (4-3) at New York Jets (1-6)

The Bills have been impressive behind Kyle Orton but now must face the Jets without their top two running backs. The Jets are going to be fresh and with the addition of Percy Harvin, I see them being able to move the football in this one and get win number two.

Bills 17 Jets 21

Result: Bills 43 Jets 23

Minnesota (2-5) at Tampa Bay (1-5)

Both of these teams are still quite a ways from being legit contenders. The Vikings have the better defense but Bridgewater is still learning. The Bucs responded well after their first shellacking and I think they'll respond well to this one as well.

Vikings 13 Buccaneers 17

Result: Vikings 19 Buccaneers 13

Houston (3-4) at Tennessee (2-5)

If not for a self destructing performance, the Texans would have defeated an enigmatic Steelers team. Now, on short rest they go on the road against a Titans team that is much better than they're record. But, with a rookie quarterback against a formidable pass rush, I think the Texans will eke this one out.

Texans 19 Titans 17

result: Texans 30 Titans 16

Philadelphia (5-1) at Arizona (5-1)

In a battle of two surprising 5-1 teams, my heart wants the Cards to lose but my gut says Philly leaves Arizona with loss number two. Nick Foles has not been good in recent weeks and Arizona is a run stopping team, meaning Philly won't be able to do much on offense.

Eagles 17 Cardinals 22

result: Eagles 20 Cardinals 24

Oakland (0-6) at Cleveland (3-3)

Oakland is still searching for that first win but on the road against a Cleveland team looking to bounce back after a tough loss is not the place to find it. Cleveland will run all over the 29th ranked rushing defense.

Raiders 14 Browns 27

result: Raiders 13 Browns 23

Indianapolis (5-2) @ Pittsburgh (4-3)

The Colts look more and more like a legitimate Super Bowl contender with each week. The Steelers continue to win but don't look impressive. That secondary is a mess and Andrew Luck has his way with them.

Colts 34 Steelers 26

Result: Colts 34 Steelers 51

Green Bay (5-2) @ New Orleans (2-4)

The Saints refusal to run the football-- despite the presence of considerable weapons-- continues to hurt them, as evidenced by last weeks collapse in Detroit. They lose here, too. The Packers have hit their stride.

Packers 33 Saints 28

result: Packers 23 Saints 44

Detroit (5-2) @ Atlanta (2-5)

After a strong start, Atlanta is reeling. The Lions pass rush will get after Matt Ryan and force him into plenty of mistakes. The Lions romp here.

Lions 27 Falcons 10

result: Lions 22 Falcons 21

Washington (2-5) @ Dallas (6-1)

Dallas continues to roll, though they have only defeated one .500 team this season (Seattle in Seattle) I will always find a reason to doubt Tony Romo and the Cowboys. Unfortunately, the Redskins are terrible, even if RG3 returns.

Redskins 17 Cowboys 31

result: Redskins 20 Cowboys 17

I still think Steelers will win if Ryan Clark is going to play and the secondary will get a boost. I mostly agree with your choices to win.
