Does Good Stats Equal Wins?

Lets face it, some stats dont realy mean much. Hockey stats paint a great picture of any hockey team, also Hockey stats tell us whether teams spent a lot of time in the penalty box, or whether or not a team is better home or away.

When the puck drops the ice hockey stats don't really mean much, but boy are they cool to know. It's more or less the combination of the of stats, and in what situation any hockey team finds themselves in, is what's important. At the end of the game it's not about the stats that dictate the victory team. The winning team is usually the team that leaves it all on the ice .
