3 Unique Gift Ideas for Hunters

Why are Gifts for Hunters so Hard to Find?

I am not sure that gifts are actually hard to find but finding unique gift ideas for hunters that can be challenging. It seems they tend to buy so many things for themselves, they don't leave anything for us to give them.

So with the help of close family members who are avid hunters, I was able to come up with a few things that they had not already bought for themselves and would love to have. Having grown up in an area where hunting was and still is a way of life for so many, finding new and unique gifts had proved quite difficult over the years.

Whether it's for Christmas, birthdays, Father's Day or just because you want to say "I Love You", hopefully some of these ideas will be perfect for the hunter in your life.

Garmin Oregon 550 Waterproof GPS

Electronic Compass Shows Your Heading Even When Standing Still

Oregon 550 Garmin waterproof GPS is loaded with features. Some of the most interesting is it allows you to take pictures and save locations.

It's touch and go feature makes finding your way on rugged terrain almost effortless. The ability to determine where you are at, even while on unlevel terrain makes it an indispensable tool for any hunter.

World-wide Mapping

You even have the ability to share wirelessly with other Garmin GPS users. It also comes preloaded with a world-wide base-map but easily accepts any up-loadable maps.

This is a must have for big game hunters who will be traveling in rough terrain. My brother-in-law got one for his birthday earlier this year just before their big hunting trip to Montana and he said he would never go again without it!

Deer Hunters Poll

I have included a little poll for the deer hunters out there. It's really just for fun but it does make you think about why, where and how much are you willing to pay...

Anyway, I went with deer hunting because most of the men in my family are deer hunters, a few that stray from the path occasionally but mostly deer. So, have fun and hope you find something useful or at least something that makes you smile!

Nikon Laser IRT Matte Riflescope for the Serious Hunter

Rugged Waterproof Fog-proof Performance

Any hunter knows that hunting in any type of inclement weather can create problems with their scopes. You need a riflescope that does not fog over whether its raining, snowing or just plain damp. The Nikon Laser IRT riflescope is all of that and more.

This riflescope is a little pricey and not for a novice hunter, it is for the "Serious Hunter. " If you are looking for gift ideas for a hunter, there is no way the Nikon 2.5-10 x 40 mm Laser Scope will disappoint.

Bright Nikon Optics

It also has lightening fast response, much like you will find with a Nikon rangefinder but remains remarkably accurate. If you have ever been hunting and missed because your scope was off by just a hair, you know how important accuracy is in the woods.

Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout Laser Rangefinder

Every Hunter Needs a Rangefinder

A rangefinder is a perfect gift for any hunter whether they bow hunt, rifle hunt, or even throw rocks at it, they need to know how far away the game is. With the Bushnell Yardage Pro it is accurate up to one yard as far away as 700 yards.

It is extremely lightweight, durable and completely weather resistant. The rangefinder has too many features to discuss here but one of the most exciting is the ARC technology. For those of you who don't know that is angle range compensation (how much the bullet drops.)

Best Hunters Gift Idea For the Money

For the money there is not a better hunting gift on the market. It is really difficult to find anything bad about this rangefinder but just to keep it honest, try not to drop it and bounce it off too many rocks. This could interfere with the accuracy reading.

Your "cartoon" cardboard female works for the "hunter." The process oriented individual would consider the options...

Enjoyed!
