Unusual Fishing Baits - Garlic & Cheese Paste

Sometimes when fishing things do not go your way. It doesn't seem to matter what bait you try or what tactics you apply. This is when we sit there trying to think of something different that might spur the fish into action. Therefore I have created and tested many different baits; especially baits that can make a difference and get the fish feeding when times are tough. See below for a free onlineĀ unusual fishing recipe.

Unusual Fishing Recipe - Garlic & Cheese Paste

To prepare this bait you need to get the following ingredients.

  • Bread
  • Margarine
  • Cheese
  • Garlic
  1. We need to turn the bread into small soft crumbs. You can do this by using a blender, a grater or even rubbing between your hands for a while. Prepare the crumbs and put straight into empty fishing tub.
  2. Grate your cheese as small as possible. Cheddar cheese seems to bring out the best results. Also add to to the fishing tub.
  3. Peel and then grate your garlic and add to tub. This needs to be as small as possible once again. Add as much as you feel necessary. In winter months I tend to add slightly more as it can get the fish a little excited!
  4. Add your Margarine, and stir. You now have a mould of paste.
  5. Keep in fridge overnight and then the paste will mould together nicely and keep in place for longer, therefore staying on the hook better.
  6. Get up early in the morning - and go fishing! Catch some fish on your new top bait.
