I believe that goal-line technology would be a positive addition to the game of soccer. Similar reviews are utilized successfully in other sports such as professional basketball and football. Far too many controversies surround referee's decisions regarding what actually crosses the goal-line and what is not considered a goal. The course of important games such as the Germany-England match-up in the world cup have been effected by the inability of referees to make every call correctly. With this technology there would be no misconceptions about what is and is not a goal.

It needs to be implemented. The Everton v Newcastle match 2 weeks ago was another example of why goal line tech is needed. Will it take a bit of time to determine it was a goal? Probably. It won't take nearly as much time as NFL ref reviews though. It surely won't take anymore than a minute to determine if the ball went over the line or not.  Far too many matches have been decided on a missed calls.

Yes, I think it should be introduced. We have the technology available to determine with certainty whether a goal is a goal, and yet we don't use it? Game after game we see a goal not given that should have been, or the opposite. I think it will be a positive move to get goal line technology.

From what I have read about it, a signal will be sent to the refs watch which will set off a vibration alerting the ref of the goal. it is simple, fast and effective.

It should have been done so already.  I goal whether its allowed or disallowed changes the complex of the game.
