   Do you still chase rainbows, jump in puddles and enjoy acting 'crazy'?
   
   In other words, no matter your age, do you still enjoy the sorts of things you did when very young?  Splashing about in muddy puddles when you've got grandchildren is a good excuse but would you do it anyway?  Do you have that 'crazy' fun streak in you?

   Yes indeed! I jump on the trampoline with my kids&play silly games, spot shapes in the clouds, go on slides at tge park&enjoy a swing as much as possible, dance at school discos etc. life gets so busy&we have so many responsibilities that sometimes we get so serious without realising. It's important to let our jobs go sometimes so that we can stop and play:)

   We've had some flooding issues around town the last few years.  My house is on a hill, so fortunately it's just down below that gets flooded in the yard.
   
   One time, I was looking out my window and noticed someone was in my yard.....floating in a canoe, rowing about the flooded yard!  I just had to stop and laugh. 
   
   When my children were small, I used to put their rain boots on and let them go out and play in mud puddles.  They still remember that.  Now they stand on the covered porch and watch the rain fall.
   
   I took a walk in the rain not too long ago.  I'm totally nuts at times!

      Thanks for the thoughts.  Walking in the rain can be so refreshing; as long as we're warm and waterproofed, I can't see a problem doing that! Thanks for answering.

   Oh yes I do Ann. One of the best things in the world is to be able to go outside in the rain and spin like a top. Ok, call me silly, but that's what I like. It is as if all the cares in the world just wash away with the water. And the best part? When I come in all wet and my children look at me and say, "umm MOM? What are you Doing?" Haha!

   I put a safety cone on a horses head so I could have a picture of a unicorn.
   I run towards the ocean not caring that I am fully clothed and have had waves crash me and my grandmother to the ground laughing.
   I chase rainbows to try and find the pot of gold.
   It does not matter if children are involved or not, there is nothing like carving pumpkins and squishing the guts out with your hands. Just remember to put down the newspaper!
   
   To still take time to play, is one of the reasons for living.

   Annart,
        When I see parents and grandparents (all adults) playing and interacting joyfully with children it makes me smile. I think we learn so much from children and their ability to be in the moment, imagine, be silly and laugh. We all still have that fearless curious child inside of us who loves to learn and explore.

   Of course!  I don't understand how you couldn't be that way and still enjoy life.  This is exactly why I value hanging out with my friends and having fun much more than the daily grind.  While that may be the death of me I will have fun going out. 
   
   This is why I attend a certain art festival every year in the Nevada desert.  It really opens me up and reminds me that there is much more to life than material luxuries or keeping up with the Jones'. 
   
   Security is boring.  Safety third.

      Probably why so many people go to Glastonbury Festival near here; the more mud the better!  They all jump up and down in the rain to the sound of wonderful music.  Thanks for your answer.
