The ACC seems to have flamed out this year. As we head into the Sweet 16 weekend, only one ACC team is left in the tournament (UVA). As of 3/25, there are still 2 teams left in the NIT (Florida State and Clemson). Duke was one and done. UNC only made it to the round of 32. First time in years that no team from NC is in the Sweet 16.
When you say 'Carolina', I assumed you meant UNC since the question was about the ACC. But, for the SEC, Go 'Cocks! While the USC men's basketball team didn't do well, the women are a #1 seed in the women's March Madness.
Oddly enough, football power conference SEC has 3 teams in the Sweet 16 (Florida, Tennessee, and UK) and basketball power conference ACC only has one (UVA). Go figure.
