martial arts?

    Anyone do any martial arts?

    I'm thinking about taking tae kwan do classes again. I'm 40, but I think it will be a good way to get in shape even though I'm not young anymore. My instructor is ten years older than me, and in great shape, way better than I am.

      Why not.

      As you know, TKD is quite "sporty" with its high kicks and you may find it tricky to do many of the "flashy" moves initially but with practice, the body will adapt and regain its youthfulness. It's also good fun. I used to do more TKD and Shaolin kung fu stuff when I was younger. I still practice stretching and can still do high kicks if I fancy showing off. big_smile
