I can't believe it--I'm completely shocked. Did anyone watch the game?  Are these guys the same ones that won the Super Bowl last year?  The Steelers are now 6-7 and are all but out of the playoffs...

Sorry Eaglekiwi and prettdarkhorse, I know you guys are fans sad

i did i did and i even picked them and everything i read about how the team was full of unity and brothethood and in spite of the fact they have mangenius as a coach they were going out there and they were going to play with all the heart and soul that guys play for each other especially when they are on the same page . .

have to say i rooted for them the whole game (sorry Pretty) but  I love an underdog!

Yeah, I read about that too, not to mention I heard on ESPN radio (I get Colin Cowherd/The Herd where I am).  The players swore that they "played for each other."  I don't think Mangini's kids would play for Mangini lol

I watch the game and I must say it was pretty ugly.  I think Ben Roethlisberger was on the ground more than he was standing. I would say it is time to put a fork in the Steelers and their playoff hopes.  Not to mention, lose to an awful Browns team.

I thought the Steelers would pull out the victory just because the Browns are so bad, but I picked Cleveland to cover. I'm not at all shocked. They might not win another game. Their defense is shot without Polamalu and their offense never was all that prolific in the first place.

I agree with you there completely.  plus, i think its sad that since cowher left, at least their defense was more well rounded to where they didn't rely one solely one guy.  However, I guess with Tomlin, he's more of a offensive type of guy.  all i can say is they better start drafting more defensive players, so they can build up depth.

It looks like they've folded mentally.

I was surprised! I thought, maybe, just maybe Cleveland would make it interesting for a half and then the Steelers would roll!!!!
But, where has that defensive effort by Cleveland been all year? Wow, they were all over Ben.
Pittsburgh's offensive line should have been built up in the off season, but they ignored that. It is biting them in the a... now. What was it, 8 sacks?
I think you can put the fork in Pittsburgh, but...people were saying that about Philly last year and they got in the playoffs.

Sigh an utter disappointment I tell you. They've fallen from the pedestal much like the the New England Patriots.

This is exactly why the NFL is so interesting.  You never know what will happen, week-in, week-out.  This is also why I don't bet on sports...It's just too unpredictable cool
